When rumors that Adonis Adler was crafted from gold filled quiet of Bradford Springs in 1991, it didn't take long for those to wonder if it was true. How could it be, when his mother had stepped away from her ivory tower on the North Side for an outsider who had just moved into town. There was no way her son still had the glimmer that her family name carried, but there was one thing that was for certain— if he was truly a golden boy, he would be just as soft as that gilded metal.
Adonis was easy to love. He knew all the right ways to not only get on your side, but get you on his. He had learned what he needed to do in order to blend in with the righteous, and how to hang his head to listen to the defeated. His mother knew exactly what she had done when she named him, but at some point, he tested his own limits and cut himself away from the story. Going by Donnie, he split himself away from expectation and regulation but in his feigned sense of freedom, he fell victim to every wrong choice that would haunt him for years to come. His limits were tested by his own family, and his father covered where the golden film split under the touch of cigarette with the soot of his own disappointment.
In 2014, Donnie's ambition to separate himself from his family was successful but it left him with less than a comfortable place to lie his head. What little of his funds he still had access to were withering as he supplied a lifestyle for himself and his friends. It didn't take much to convince him of what they would soon lose, and they constructed a heist of a local bank that would backfire soon after its victory. Foul play followed them, and soon, confession and pointed fingers would be the dagger allies would fall on. Three years later, nearly everyone was serving time for their role in the robbery. However, all that was left innocent was Donnie and his significant other. Their alibis were woven so tightly together that they were unbreakable, and in turn, inseparable. Nearly five years later, and they're still pretending all is well but all they've done is enter a new hell to avoid going to prison.
PRESENT DAY
Donnie left Bradford Springs for a few years after he was cleared as a suspect, but he's been back for the last four years as a means of going back to his roots and remembering not only who he was, but who he could be. He's retracing his steps to find just where he went wrong. He's a burnout with the cigarette holes in his shirt to prove it, and the distain of a perfectly ruined silk shirt for the cherry on top. His act is as clean as he can make it, but there's no denying that he's just a shell of who he was suppose to be. Every good deed he's done is tainted by the means of hiding the vices he can't clean his hands of.

Hotch wants everyone to reenact the shooting at the park to get a better idea of where the unsub was located. One of the cops is playing the unsub while the BAU team is on the field where the other victims were. With the help of the cones as well as your abilities, everyone has a place to call their own. The only people not on the field are Detective Calvin, Hotch, and Gideon.
Elle is standing where the father and son were playing catch. You, Spencer, and Derek are standing where the guy was flying the kite. Other officers are standing where the last victim was shot as well as bystanders. Everyone has comms in their ears to communicate with the agents at home base. They have cameras everywhere to get a good idea of where everyone was. You hold your camera and scan the area to see what your victim might have seen.
“Elle, Jerry Middleton was facing a little further south. Can you give it to us?” Hotch instructs over the comm.
“How’s that?” she asks when she turns the camera more to her right.
“Perfect. Hold your camera right there.”
“It doesn't look like Jerry Middleton had a clear view of the sniper's vehicle when he was shot. The tree branches were in the way,” Gideon observes.
“I do have a clear view of the vehicle from here. Tim Reilly would have seen it if he'd looked down from the kite,” Spencer informs.
“Good. Have the unsub pop the trunk. See if Reid can see it,” Hotch orders.
A few moments later, and the trunk of the car pops open big enough to get the barrel of the gun through. You can see it, but only because you know that’s not how the unsub did things.
“No, sorry, I can’t.”
“Hotch, I don’t think he popped his trunk,” you blurt out.
“It’s the only way to stay hidden from everyone else.”
“That depends on the kind of car the unsub uses. Didn’t the really old cars used to have their gas tank behind their license plate? That pops open.”
“We’ll keep that in mind. Thank you. Okay, everyone, move to position two.”
While everyone was shifting to the next positions, you take a few steps to your left to approach Derek. He’s looking at Spencer as he scans the area, and you nudge his arm.
“You have to go easier on Spencer.”
“What are you talking about?”
“A couple of mornings ago? You know how he feels about failing, and it feels like you’re kicking him when he’s down.”
“I was just teasing him. He knows that.”
“There’s a difference between teasing and being mean.”
“Why do you care? You got feelings for him or something? I heard about the two dates you’ve been on.”
“So? We just went to see a movie,” you shrug.
“That’s not what I heard. A little birdie told me you two kissed.”
“It was the cheek, and damn it Penelope,” you curse.
“How’d you know it’s her?”
You just give him a look that screams, “are you kidding me?” You turn back to the car where Officer McCarty is playing the unsub. You look off the right to see JJ, Gideon, and Detective Calvin hassling a news reporter. Something isn’t right. The Detective walks over to Hotch who is on the phone with who you presume to be Penelope. Something is definitely not right.
A SWAT team approaches the car McCarty’s in from behind. They get out a smoke bomb and unleash it so that McCarty’s view is tainted. Shit, something is definitely wrong.
“Derek, Spencer, get down!” you hiss and grab both men’s sleeves.
You yank them to the ground as you get down. They yell out in shock, but once they see the smoke, they are on full alert. You can’t hear what’s being said, but McCarty throws out the assault rifle and his sidearm out of the trunk. He gets out with his hands in the air, and once it’s clear, a SWAT member takes him down to handcuff him. They get him up, and as they are leaving, someone shoots McCarty in the head right between the eyes.
“Get down!” Gideon tells once the shot is fired.
You reach over to place your arm over Spencer’s head as if to protect him. You look up and notice a car lingering in the back. The license plate is gone until it’s shifted back into place. You can’t read what it says, and the car peels out of there quietly before you have a chance to see or do anything.
However you did get one thing… a flash of a hospital. That’s when it all clicks into place.
You knew it.

“Are you okay? I didn’t hurt you, right?” you ask Spencer once you get back to the office.
“No. I’m fine,” he whispers.
“How did McCarty end up playing the unsub?” JJ asks.
“Weigart punished McCarty for mouthing off during the profile briefing by making him the unsub and sticking him in the trunk of the car all afternoon,” Detective Calvin answers.
“Wait, then how did the unsub find out about the reenactment?”
“Come on. Cops talk. Pissed-off cops talk loud—at home, at the bars, at gyms, and to anyone who'll listen,” Derek sighs.
“What do we know? Our unsub went from wounding civilians to executing a police officer, so he's escalated. He's not staying on script,” Gideon thinks out loud.
“Sometimes, it's what they don't do,” Hotch points out.
“He did not pick McCarty at random,” Spencer adds. “He didn't take the gut shot.”
“Why?” Hotch asks the group.
“He wants to send a message. ‘Nobody takes credit for my work’. His ego won’t allow it. He feels under appreciated. He doesn’t have contact with the media, but he does have contact with the victims. He’s not a police officer,” you just get started.
“Go on,” Gideon encourages you.
“I saw something out there. I saw a car. I wasn’t able to get a license plate number, but I did see the license plate shift back into place which confirms my theory of how he shoots the victims. When we got here, I mentioned something about where the victims go when they get shot.”
“Where do people who get shot go? The hospital. Was he getting away to get there to see the chaos, or is there another reason entirely?” Spencer repeats what you said word for word.
“Right, that,” you say slowly before getting back on topic. “The shooter isn’t a cop because he’s a surgeon. He wants to play the hero when the victims come in for surgery. He doesn’t kill them because he wants them to die, he does it to save them. It’s what fuels his ego.”
“Alright, thanks,” Derek says into the phone before hanging up and rejoining the group. “Garcia nailed down the geographic profile. The crime scenes are centered on two separate locations.”
“The hospitals,” you and Hotch say at the same time.

“I believe it's a case of hero homicide,” Gideon says.
Detective Calvin is driving with Gideon up front with her and you and Spencer sitting in the back. The rest of the agents are in another car following.
“What's that?” the driver asks.
“The best-known case was hospital nurse Richard Angelo. He would inject toxins into his victims, then wait for them to crash so that he could run to the rescue and save them. He killed 25 people, and that's just what we know of,” Spencer explains.
“If he attacked then to save them, why'd he kill 25 people?”
“He wasn’t very good at it,” you shrug. “And hospitals don’t keep records of people who almost died.”
“So, what's the profile on one of these guys?” the detective asks.
“Arrogant, conceited, and feels superior to everyone around them,” Gideon answers quietly.
“You've just described every surgeon I've ever met.”
“Landman,” Gideon says suddenly.
“Who?” you wonder.
He doesn’t answer but instead takes out his cell phone. Whoever is on the other line picks up quickly, and Gideon doesn’t waste any time with pleasantries.
“Let’s start with Landman.”
Before going to the surgeon in question, most of the team gathers in a conference room to discuss Dr. Landman in detail as well as a course of action. The only person who isn’t here is Hotch because he’s checking out Landman’s car.
“Okay, courtesy of Garcia,” Derek says when he takes the piece of paper she faxed over. “Landman was in the army, and started out in M.P. School.”
“There’s your law enforcement,” you scoff.
“But he was smart, got a degree on Uncle Sam, and ended up a doctor with special forces. He bounced around from hospital to hospital since his discharge in 2001,” Derek reads from the paper.
“Has Dr. Landman been under any unusual strain? Has he had a reprimand? Has he had any kind of major blow to his ego?” Gideon asks as he stares out the window.
“Last month, he was passed over for chief of surgery,” the woman in charge, Cheryl Marston, says.
“Let's get a warrant for his house. Let's see if we find the weapon.”
“Okay,” Derek nods and gets up to do so.
“What can I do to help?” The stranger asks.
“You can tell me where he is right now.”

One look at the suspect in question, and you knew he isn’t the shooter. You saw bits and pieces of what the shooter looks like, and Landman doesn’t have any of the distinctive marks. How can you tell this to the team? How can you prove it wasn’t him? How can you make them see what you see?
As Gideon is talking to the surgeon, Hotch approaches everyone from behind. You, Spencer, and Elle are standing outside of the glass watching the interaction.
“You get anything from his car?” Elle asks the older agent.
“It's a red 2-seat Maserati.”
“It’s not him,” you say.
“How do you know?” Hotch asks.
He claimed earlier in the week that he wants to understand what you can do, and this is your opportunity.
“Remember when we checked out the crime scene at the park before the re-enactment? I saw the car pull up to the spot. A man got out. I didn’t see his face because there were three black holes where his eyes and mouth were supposed to be. Everything else was distinctive. Landman doesn’t have the same build as the person I saw. Landman has a full head of hair. The shooter doesn’t.
“It’s not all in my head. I don’t see things because I want to see them or because my mind is twisting things. I see them for what they are. Landman isn’t the shooter. No matter how arrogant he may be. It’s just his personality.”
“Okay, I trust you. Where is he?”
“Dr. Pate isn’t the only person who thinks I’m a God,” Landman practically shouts so that everyone on the other side of the class can hear.
“This way,” you instruct and walk away from the group.
“Let’s go, Reid,” Hotch says and takes your crush with him.
“Check out Dr. Pate if it’s necessary. But I can say with 100% confidence that it’s not Landman. Richard Angelo wanted to be a hero because in his everyday life, he was a nobody. Landman’s a great surgeon, and with that, comes with respect and power all on its own.”
“Yeah, but you know, surgeons are a different breed. There are stars in the field, and Landman is definitely not one of them,” Spencer spits out.
You three approach the nurses desk where a gentleman is standing with his back turned to you. You stop short in your tracks as the vision of the car comes into your mind.
“Excuse me. I'd like to speak with Dr. Pate,” Hotch says and flashes his badge.
The nurse turns around, and it’s like the whole picture is cleared up for you. The man you saw in your vision becomes clearer to match the person in front of you. The black holes disappear to show the face of the man standing before you. He looks at the three of you before nodding.
“Yes, sir. I'll go find her for you,” he says and walks off.
Your eyes stay glued to the man.
“He’s not a surgeon,” you whisper fearfully.

People keep talking about a hotel scene that was skipped from episode 12, can you tell me what was this scene?
OH, BOY. HERE WE GO.
That scene is one of the best ones between Richard and Seigi and one of my favorite highlights of their relationship because there’s a huge display of trust and love between them in it. But there’s actually a lot to unpack, so for context, I’m going to explain some extra stuff too. As far as I know, though, there’s someone on Twitter who has made a summary of each volume, so they might be more useful for this. I’m not the best person to judge since I haven’t read those summaries, but I saw that the threads were lengthy, so I guess they must be detailed. The link to their Twitter is in my Richard tag!
Warning: this is gonna be long.
All right, starting from the moment Seigi tells Richard he wants to quit. Part of it is because he wants to shield Richard from whatever Hisashi might do if he finds out Seigi works for a filthy-rich foreigner who definitely pays well and treats him to expensive dinners every week. But most of it is because Hisashi brings out a lot of ugliness in Seigi (take almost stabbing Hisashi as an example), and he doesn’t want Richard to see it and be disappointed.
Just like in the anime, Richard accepts it rather easily and invites Seigi for one last dinner together. Seigi complies, because he’s not just planning to quit Etranger; he’s also planning to cut his ties with Richard so that Hisashi won’t go after him, so this is the last time they’ll hang out with each other. He promises himself he’ll make it the best night they’ve ever had, since it’s going to be the last, and honestly, the fact that he doesn’t think there’s anything ambiguous in this thought process says so much about how he is in canon. Meanwhile, just imagining never seeing Richard again is enough to make Seigi almost cry several times.
They go to a high-class hotel for dinner this time. Afterward, they go to the hotel’s bar, and at some point, Richard simply drops this bomb on Seigi’s lap and pulls a cardkey from his pocket while they’re drinking and eating:
“This is so good it feels like a waste…”“I think so too.”“Hm?”“I don’t want to...”“Did you say anything?”“I don’t want to let you go home.”
Seigi actually fucking looks around and asks Richard if that was meant for him.
“Is there anyone else around?”“No.”“Then I would assume it was for you.”“I see.”“Right.”
Harold, they’re in love and also fucking dumbasses. This scene is mad levels of latine telenovela bullshit, except it’s also dumb and awkward 2000′s love comedy bullshit at the same time. I love it. Anyway, since Seigi had already committed to make the best out of this night, he didn’t consider saying no to Richard as an option, so he just asks “what floor”. Boy. Son. Child. When they get to said floor, Richard gives Seigi the key and has him open the door.
Now in comes the scene that everyone was probably talking about. Yes, it does get worse than this. And yes, this scene is pretty long.
Not to transform all this built-up tension into a huge deception, but when they get into the room, Jeff is there waiting for them. It wouldn’t be Jeff with a really goofy introduction, but Seigi is so surprised he almost runs the fuck away, except Richard stops him, brings him back into the room and makes him sit down. Jeff then reminds Seigi that he’d been investigating (okay, he says “legally stalking”) Seigi for a long time and sort of reveals that he obviously knew about the problem dad. He was also the one who told Richard about the whole thing, and I gotta add that it was quite a punch in the gut for him. That’s where Seigi gets indignant at the invasion, and also where Richard tells him “you did not tell me anything either before coming to London”. Get rekt.
Then Richard starts trying to convince Seigi to open up by monologuing about how Seigi is like a distorted mirror to him, as in that they’re opposites but also the same. He grew up hating mirrors because they would make him realize how keenly he resembled his mother, but that wasn’t the case with Seigi. Both of them had lived very different lives, but they basically held the same values to heart. Just like how Seigi went after Richard to help with his family issues, Richard is doing it for Seigi, and now they’re again in a hotel room with one of them talking about how much he likes the other. That’s when Richard dumps the “I like you so, so much that I cannot help myself” line, which the anime thankfully kept. And then he literally goes into “how dare you do not lean on me for help when I’m more than capable of giving it” mode and throws in a “what am I to you”, ‘cause we readers deserve to die. Meanwhile, Jeff leaves the room for a bit.
Seigi still doesn’t want to talk things out because he might’ve been more influenced by his father than Richard could ever know, and he doesn’t want to “taint” Richard with his matters because he deems them as dirty, but in the end, he gives in. Turns out he looked up stuff on abuse because of his family circumstances, and one book mentioned what we all know: boys who witness abuse have more chances of incorporating it and becoming abusers when they grow up. He gives the way he tried to break Richard’s family inheritance as an example of possible tendency to be violent. He also says that his mother probably got him into karate because he had the habit of kicking walls, which got so bad that he opened a hole into one when he was a kid. Basically, he had an understandable amount of pent-up frustration and practiced karate to let it out. It was also to make him realize how much hitting and being hit hurts.
He goes on to say that all he wants is to be seen as a good person in the eyes of who he likes and then off himself into oblivion, because he fears that the other party will realize what kind of person he really is if he stays too close to them for too long. He adds that he’s scared of finding someone that corresponds to his affections, as he’s pretty sure that he’d abuse them. I can’t stress enough how contradictory this feels when we consider his feelings for Shouko, because he tried really hard to be her romantic partner. It’s one of the things that have me pondering if those feelings really weren’t just a glorified friendship, like I’ve mentioned before, and if the one he truly likes isn’t actually Richard. I mean, he keeps telling himself over and over in every single volume that what he feels for Richard “isn’t like that”, as if he’s trying to find excuses not to be romantically involved with Richard despite showing more affection for him than for any other character. Sum that up with the fact he doesn’t want Richard to see the bad in him and it all kinda makes sense.
Richard at some point says that Seigi is doing nothing but hold prejudice against himself and therefore he’s also prejudiced against all other children who are or have been in the same situation as him. He argues that someone who can’t be kind to himself also can’t be truly kind to other people. He then adds that he finally gets why Seigi sees him as immutably beautiful. He doesn’t become used to Richard’s beauty, no matter how long he’s been looking at it, because he always sees Richard from a distance. He doesn’t deem Richard as reachable and refuses to get closer to him, in spite of claiming that he wanted to be closer. He won’t diminish the gap between them and he won’t let Richard reciprocate his affections (again, this brings me back to his feelings for Shouko and how Seigi would probably let her do that).
Richard also tells Seigi about how he hit Jeff back when Jeff betrayed him, and Seigi thinks that’s only the expected. So he begins to wonder if he wasn’t just thinking that this “expected” didn’t apply to himself. He finally begins to conclude that maybe he was just looking down on himself and by default also looking down on people who went through the same as him. Richard then says Seigi should ask for help when things come to this, not only from him but also from other people. All of this seems pretty harsh but Richard was being very gentle while saying it, and he kneeled down next to the chair in the process. It makes Seigi think that they look just like an adult comforting a child, and he starts crying for the billionth time in this volume.
Seigi’s phone then starts ringing, and Richard tells him to answer. It’s Hisashi, saying he’s near Seigi’s apartment. He asks Seigi to come over, by himself. The scene ends with him accepting to go, but as we know, he doesn’t go alone, just like in the anime. Except, in the novel, Jeff jokes before they leave that Richard might look slender and all, but he actually had muscles under his clothes, meaning he was up for a fight if the worst happened. This totally doesn’t sound like Jeff was trying to make Seigi imagine Things. Not at all.
By the way, a bonus: while Richard and Seigi are in the car going to Seigi’s apartment complex, Richard asks how Seigi could’ve been so innocent to agree to that invitation for going to a hotel room with him. He had actually expected Seigi to say no and had thought of a lie to convince him. Seigi says he’d have tried to flee if it were anyone else, but he trusted Richard.
Sorry for taking so long to answer this, but here you have it! As you can see, it’s an awesome scene.

MTV Masters 2004 Rammstein - thoughts
After doing the translation of the MTV Masters 2004 set, i was left with some lingering thoughts and miscellaneous rambles, so here goes.. ❣in no particular order.
Even though it was primarily a collection of snippets from other/older interviews and some making ofs, i liked how it was put together as a sort of "History of Rammstein up until now", too bad part 2 was missing.
Olli might be just as direct and outspoken as Paul, just not as eloquent, and not as bothered to try and get his opinion out (maybe should do a post on Olli alone...probably..).
The Mutter drama
very likely started with Richard (greatly helped with a bunch of cocaine), but after it also everyone says they didn't want to go on with the same type of music, but wanted to experiment...
afaik Richard is one of the more experimental of the band, so while at some point (understandably) they wanted Richard out, I think he was also needed for the new direction...a "can't live with him, can't live without" situation?
because of that shared feeling, i guess a bandcrisis was unavoidable at some point, and maybe it was brought to a head when it was and they worked through it...if it had lingered another few years maybe they'd have said "we've been doing this long enough now, let's quit"
the years after were better, but i think it's only in the recent 2 or 3 years that the band-together-vibe has really returned, but without the corset they all hated, good for them for hanging in all that time
Paul's occassionally shows his sunny smiles when saying a pointed or sharp remark. If you didn't understand the text you might think he just said something really cute, and all the while is dissing something or someone ☀️ not just a ball of sunshine, but one with stings..
Till often doesn't finish sentences, leaves part of it hanging in the air, starts his next thought. I could imagine he prefers to express himself in writing (his poetry and lyrics) instead of talking, especially talking with a journalist where he probably half expects to be misquoted anyway.
The parts about Germany are all the more interesting knowing that 15 years later they did a song on pretty much exact the topic as it is discussed here. I wouldn't be surprised they had rewatched these old interviews and then came up with using the theme for a song. I also agree that the nazi-era, apart from the atrocities and unspeakable harm it did to people, also very much crippled the germans with guilt, making it impossible to look further away in the past without linking it to the later nazi years (a lot of harmless things from before get a connotation it originally didn't have because the nazi era tainted it) and not being able to move on in the future because the guilt couldn't be let go. If only they'd ever do a 'making of' or interview about the song "Deutschland" i'd be very interested on their thoughts...but i don't have much hope anymore for that...
The scenes with Schneider and Paul on a couch, Paul telling Schneider he's the best actor, Schneider sort of embarrassed reacting and then Paul reconsidering and coming to the conclusion that he's not sure about actor Schneider and talking, but concluding he is really good at looking in certain directions 😁 that must be a prime example of Paulinist remarks, on the one hand cute and funny and generous, and then with one sentence basically pinpointing what Schneider can't do ☀️
Richard admitting having to be unhappy to "create" and sometimes creating drama to trigger that is very revealing, self-aware, unsettling and in a way very sad.. i hope he has come to terms better with it later in life and can also use music from a happier core (like when he writes songs for his children), but deep down, this is his drive and probably still is..
Love Paul's metaphores, he always has one (or three) at hand on any topic. When interviewed along bandmates he's quite restless though, moving around a lot..
Felt sad for Till when he talks about writting stuff off of his soul and afterwards "feeling a bit better, a tiny bit" I wanted to reach in and hug him ❣
At this point in time the Mutter drama is forgiven but not quite forgotten, I think especially Paul will be one to regularly have referred back to it in the first years after the crisis. At least the last couple of years it seems to have been really layed to rest (apart from maybe a little inside joke like old friends have).
Although I always think Schneider is the most levelheaded of the bunch, he does seem to occassionally not "get" what is going on, he seems occassionally vague. That too changed later on, nowadays he seems the most stabil one to interview (well, Flake as well but you can have Flake just reminisce old bandstories and don't have to ask questions 💓)
Schneider for that matter also seems to, by the time of the interview, still remember there was a crisis, but is starting to forget the details, that is probably for the better, no use rehashing everything, but i'd bet some of the others took longer..
Richard is very analytical about what happened and also imo very honest, like mentioning when in the early days they did something funny, that wasn't their intension and only later learned to laugh about themselves. Other people would just have twisted a story like, but he just says it as he thinks it was. He seems very much to say what he feels at the time (not that a next time he won't say something different, but then *that* is what he feels). This must probably also have gotten him into spots of trouble over the years.
Till just lights up (no not like that 😊) when he hears the pyro guys, next time someone manages to catch him for an interview they should just let him give a masterclass on pyrotechnics and ask the questions in between so he doesn't have to bother with the standard interview-situation and just do his own thing.
There is not a lot of Flake in these interviews, while we know now that Flake is actually one of the better storytellers, maybe he was used to let others do the talking at the time, or maybe he was strugling with his alcohol addiction that he talks about in his books and his happy to let tune out.
I think Richard once mentioned in a different interview that he likes to work in a team but isn't a teamplayer; what i take from these interview snippets that he loves the band and very much wants the band to be well.. later he wrote an Emigrate song for them (a band he doesn't tour with, afraid he'd like it better than Rammstein..😙 he a worrier at heart i think..).
Paul gets interviewed in various combinations with bandmates at the time, but i don't think from those years there is a combination of him and Richard. But much much later (2016), when they are interviewed together at the Rammstein in amerika premiere, they completely make up for it and have loads of fun. Ofcourse that's exactly the difference 10+ years can make, but good for them to have given it a shot and finding common ground after all (and even managing to be soft to eachother...aaaww those two 💕)
Schneider casually calling Paul 'Paulchen' as an endearing term and Paul not even batting an eye is very cute, but also shows that they regularly call him that (nothing much to do with his size imo)
Paul having the last word is probably typical, but what a sweet way to end this show, saying he really likes all of them, empasizing again 'really' and he is glad they are all still alive 💗 apart from that that is very cute, i also think they did worry about one or the other bandmate and their lifestyle (in keeping with the interview not naming names here) i hope that part of their wildness has mellowed down by now...the first remark also is a foresight to a 2017 interview with Paul where he mentions they have really nice chemistry at that time...so glad their bandlife did become better over the years.
All in all...the really are a 6-man-marriage...aren't they 💖

hey this must seem like a really slime brain question, but how do you start/where do you start/where can you start reading the edas? i’ve been meaning to ask someone for a while you just seemed the least threatening
Not slime brain at all! Tbh you must have read my mind, anon, because I was just thinking about putting together a bit of a guide to the EDAs recently. I’m super excited about anyone reading these books because I do so love them, so I definitely was excited to get this ask!
As to the “where” of reading the EDAs, I’m not going to share a link to download PDFs in a post like this, but I am definitely willing to share such a link privately. While some of the books are definitely worth buying physical copies (in my opinion), it gets expensive. I mean, there are over 70 books in the series. (Especially with a lot of the really good books; I spent something like $50USD to get Interference Books I and II.) I think literally anyone on this website who talks about the EDAs has a link to PDFs, so asking literally anyone would be a safe bet. The rest of this post is going to be under a cut, because this is gonna get lengthy.
So. Reading the EDAs. There are a few questions to keep in mind: are you a completionist? Are you interested only in specific companions or specific story arcs? Do you just really want to see why everyone is talking about this Fitz dude and why he’s so in love with the Doctor? Do you just want to know which books aren’t really worth your time? Do you just want pretty Paul McGann? (which is totally valid, by the way.)
So, uh. I’m just going to go through the EDAs and make notes, which is why this is gonna get long real quick.
The Eight Doctors: I know it’s the first book in the series, but it��s more than okay to skip it. There’s basically no plot, it’s weirdly sexist, and although it introduces a companion, it fails to actually, y’know, introduce her as a character very well.
Vampire Science: Yes! Good book! Properly introduces Sam, the companion. Has a lot of things, including Eight with kittens, Eight baby-talking to bats, butterflies!, and great characters.
The Bodysnatchers: Not...that...great. If you’re a huge Litefoot stan, go for it. Otherwise, feel free to skip.
Genocide: Would recommend. The beginning of some good character development for Sam, a fairly short book, and again, interesting characters. 
War of the Daleks: Well. Uh. Imagine Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS, but boring. And there’s a sleazy guy who tries to hit on the Doctor’s underage companion. And Daleks. If that’s your cup of tea, go for it. 
Alien Bodies: First of all, this is a great book. Fantastic. Showing just how good experimental Doctor Who can be. It’s also the start of a very big arc that doesn’t fully resolve until The Ancestor Cell. Would recommend, and if you’re interested in the War in Heaven/Faction Paradox arc, this is your starting point! I have a physical copy of this one.
Kursaal: Unpopular opinion, but I enjoyed Kursaal. It’s not objectively great, but it’s fun. Featuring pretty Paul McGann, insulting people in Latin, and truly impressive displays of gardening. And, uh, gore. There’s some nasty gore. Not important in terms of arcs, so feel free to skip.
Option Lock: Listen, I love Justin Richards as much as the next person, but this book isn’t that great, nor is it all that important in the grand scheme of things. Not terrible, but probably not your time if you just want the highlights.
Longest Day: Okay, uh, I kind of detest this book, but it’s also the beginning of a mini arc that goes through Seeing I. All you need to know is the Doctor and Sam get separated. I wouldn’t really recommend.
Legacy of the Daleks: Not worth it.
Dreamstone Moon: A good read! One of those solid but not spectacular stories. Just good Doctor Who.
Seeing I: definitely would recommend. Featuring some much-needed Sam character development and an important thing for Eight (*cries*) that will come back in a bunch of other novels. Also refers back to some of the events of Alien Bodies. I have a physical copy of this one.
You can skip both Placebo Effect and Vanderdeken’s Children. 
The Scarlet Empress: Yessss, it’s really good. Standalone and a mix of sci-fi and fantasy, plus it introduces Iris Wildthyme, who is amazing and I love her. I have a physical copy of this one.
The Janus Conjunction: Unpopular opinion, but I liked it. It’s not amazing or anything, but it’s solid sci-fi pulp. Featuring pretty Eight. And a lot of gore. It’s by Trevor Baxendale. He kind of specializes in great descriptions and lots of gore.
Beltempest: If you’re into experimental Doctor Who, try this. If not, it’s not arc-important to anything, and it’s really, really weird, so feel free to skip it. I like it, though.
The Face-Eater: Kind of gross. Not that memorable. 
The Taint: This book isn’t objectively good, but it introduces a new companion, and that new companion is Fitz Kreiner, so I still have to recommend it. I just love Fitz so much. What a loser.
Demontage: A good story, and another good look at Fitz as a character! Standalone.
Revolution Man: Very important Fitz character development. And a good story. I have a physical copy of this one.
Dominion: There’s one scene that’s kind of gross, but beyond that, I believe it’s important for Sam. And it isn’t a terrible book, either.
Unnatural History: Yes. Yes yes yes. This is one of my all-time favorite Doctor Who stories. It’s important to the arc begun in Alien Bodies, so you’ll want that and Seeing I as prior reading. It’s. So good. I have a physical copy of this one.
Autumn Mist: Autumn Mist isn’t bad, but I’d say it’s skippable. Addresses some of the hanging threads in Unnatural History.
Interference (Books I and II): So uh. Interference comes in two books, both written by the same person. The story is fantastic. There’s a lot of torture, especially in the first book. Sam leaves. Fitz, uh, has some important character things. It introduces Compassion, a new companion. Resolves some of the arc begun in Alien Bodies and expands on it. I have physical copies of both books.
Most of Compassion’s novels are really good. I would feel awful about telling someone to skip The Blue Angel, The Taking of Planet 5, Frontier Worlds, Parallel 59, The Shadows of Avalon, The Fall of Yquatine, and Coldheart. Of that whole group, I’d say Parallel 59 is the most skippable? Maybe?? But the long and short of it is that all these books are really good. The Taking of Planet 5, The Shadows of Avalon, and The Fall of Yquatine are all important to the War in Heaven arc.
The Space Age and The Banquo Legacy are skippable. I know a lot of people who like the latter, though so maybe give it a try! I personally didn’t like it, but that’s only my opinion, which is very subjective!
The Ancestor Cell: Uh. Resolves the story arc that’s been going on since Alien Bodies. So if you’ve been following that arc, yeah, it’s important. Do I like the book? Well, that’s a different question. I like parts of it. It also has a few very big very important Spoiler-y things that are important to the rest of the series.
The next five books are all part of a new arc, usually called the Earth arc. The Doctor (SPOILERS, but it’s Eight, so is it really?) has amnesia, and he’s stuck on Earth. I’d say four of the five books aren’t really bad, but some are more worth reading than others. They’re all interesting in that they examine an amnesiac Doctor really well.
The Burning: skippable. I don’t remember most of the plot. I vaguely recall the Doctor being really, uh, violent? (Part of the whole amnesiac thing.)
Casualties of War: super gory. Not terrible, but not a favorite of mine. I have friends who enjoyed it, though!
The Turing Test: yes pleasereadityesit’ssogoodplease - uh. A great queer novel, actually? Featuring Eight and Alan Turing? Made me cry, but like, it’s good?? I still haven’t bought a physical copy but I’ve been meaning to.
Endgame: Terrance Dicks, who’s an old hand at Doctor Who and also wrote the first EDA, the one I said not to read? He wrote this. And it’s amazing. Pretty standard Doctor Who fare, with characters that Dicks created but only he ever used, but it’s real good. Real real good. I loved his characterization of amnesiac Eight.
Father Time: warning: I kind of hate this book. It’s in my three least-favorite EDAs. I have...a lot of issues with it. That being said, it’s apparently a fan favorite. A lot of people like Father Time, and that’s okay! It’s a highly rated EDA that I just so happen to detest! If you want to try it, go for it, just know that I personally wouldn’t recommend it.
Escape Velocity: This book ends the earth arc, brings back Fitz, and introduces the new companion, Anji. It’s also not that great of a book, but hey, it’s important because it gives a lot of background for Anji’s character that will be instrumental in her character development.
EarthWorld: a lot of these upcoming books are standalone, and a lot of them are pretty good. EarthWorld is no exception. Would recommend. Lots of great hijinks.
Vanishing Point: Not a bad book, not a favorite. I’m not recommending it, but I’m also not trying to dissuade anyone from reading it.
Eater of Wasps: Uh. As the title suggests, maybe don’t read the book if you have a bee/wasp/stinging insect phobia. No, I definitely don’t know this from personal experience. :)))))) Other than that, though, a good book.
The Year of Intelligent Tigers: Yes. 100%. Read this book. Please. You won’t regret it. Eight has a composer boyfriend named Karl, there are giant tigers, this kind of solidifies Eight/Fitz/Anji as a favorite TARDIS team for me.
I’d say that The Slow Empire and Dark Progeny are both skippable. Not that they’re bad, but they’re not on the same level as a lot of the other books being put out in the series at this time.
City of the Dead: so good. I don’t know if you’re an Eight audio fan, anon, but Lloyd Rose also wrote the audio Caerdroia, and she brings the same kind of humor to this novel. Gosh. It’s so good. 
Grimm Reality: very dense, but enjoyable. It takes most people forever and a day to finish, though, just because there’s so much going on.
Adventuress of Henrietta Street: this is where the new arc begins. :) It won’t hurt you at all. :) If you’re interested in any of the Sabbath-related arcs, this is the starting point. :) There are various ending points for this arc, alternatively at Camera Obscura, Timeless, and Sometime Never.
Mad Dogs and Englishmen: ridiculous and good. If you just read Adventuress, you need a book like this. And it’s good, anyway. Talking poodles. From outer space. Standalone.
Hope: important character development for Anji!
Arachnophobia: A bit scary. Still would recommend. Standalone.
Trading Futures: it’s really telling how good the books are at this point that this is the weakest one in my opinion. I just have a chip on my shoulder about Lance Parkin EDAs, apparently. (He wrote Father Time, as well.) It’s not bad, but if there’s one in this whole sequence that I would consider skippable, it’s this one.
The Book of the Still: Yes. Please. Heck. The best description of Eight I’ve ever read, and there are a lot of good ones across the 74 or so books I’ve read featuring Eight. Also, if you’re a huge Eight/Fitz shipper, this is the book for you! I spent like $30USD on a physical copy it’s definitely worth every penny.
The Crooked World: Yes. Ridiculous and goofy and silly and also surprisingly deep. Try to imagine the Doctor and co. landing on a cartoon world, with cartoon physics. Now imagine that, but it’s got an interesting and heartfelt plot underneath the cartoon hijinks.
History 101: A good book, and important to the Sabbath arc started in Adventuress! Would rec.
Camera Obscura: Another Lloyd Rose book, one that kind of ends a large part of the Sabbath arc, and just really good. Heck. So good.
Time Zero: this one will rip your heart out in the first few pages and you’ll thank Justin Richards for it. Also begins a new arc, but of all the arcs you could read, I’d recommend this one the least. Each book after this through Timeless is part of this arc. It gets pretty depressing.
The Infinity Race: Not bad, not good. Take it or leave it.
The Domino Effect: Wouldn’t recommend. Seriously.
Reckless Engineering: Not...terrible. But depressing.
The Last Resort: Super confusing, very arc-heavy. Not that it’s bad, just that it’s not good.
Timeless: ends the arc started in Time Zero and has some good bits. Anji’s last EDA, so if you like her, I’d recommend it. Also introduces Trix, the new companion! (Sort of...)
Emotional Chemistry: If you like Fitz, read this book. There’s other plot, but a large part of it is Fitz character study. And I love it.
Sometime Never...: One of my favorite Justin Richards EDAs. Great character work. Fun story. Ends the Sabbath arc.
Halflife: If you ship Eight/Fitz, read this book. Otherwise, it’s not a bad book, but you could do better things with your time. I vaguely recall some Trix character development, but the Eight/Fitz is what really sticks with you.
The Tomorrow Windows: Douglas Adams Lite. Not as funny as Douglas Adams. Overall impression: meh.
The Sleep of Reason: Wouldn’t recommend. Trix is referred to as “the blonde bitch” 90% of the time, the Doctor and co don’t even make any appearances until nearly 100 pages in, and it’s just kind of disappointing. Martin Day, the author, has this weird fascination with mental institutions? Weird and kinda yikes.
The Deadstone Memorial: It’s Baxendale, so it’s gory. But it’s not bad! One of the better late EDAs, imo. And for the subject matter, it’s surprisingly wholesome.
To The Slaughter: Now this, this is what I’m talking about. One of my top Eight/Fitz/Trix stories, alongside Emotional Chemistry and Sometime Never. (And what the hell, Halflife. What can I say: I love Eight/Fitz.) It’s got some great Fitz characterization, I love Trix, and I love Eight. Really the half-a-brain-cell-at-best team. We stan.
The Gallifrey Chronicles: Nah. Don’t bother. Not really worth your time. Unless you want to read it and cry about the vore with me.
So there you have it! A ridiculously in-depth look at my EDAs recommendations! Uh. You can always start from the beginning, or you can go based on recommendations or what looks like it will suit your fancy, or you can pick an arc and read it through to the end. The Little Things Reminds Us Why We’re Drawn to Charismatic Serial Killers

The Little Things can be seen as a tainted police procedural with its murky ambiguity and troubling ending. But it’s also the story of a man for whom the allure of a charismatic serial killer goes too far. After all, serial killers make up less than one percent of homicides but they average a double-digit percentage of Hollywood crime films, and probably a majority of prison fan mail. What is it about these one-percenters we love so much?
Directed by John Lee Hancock, the supposed sociopath in The Little Things is Albert Sparma, a drifter who works as a repairman. Jared Leto is certainly magnetic in the part, serving Sparma up with a now-stereotypical “charismatic serial killer” vibe. But the Oscar-winning actor also brings an ambiguous energy to the part, suggesting he may merely be a serial killer groupie.
Albert Sparma is a self-identifying true crime afficionado and has taken his fanboy fancy so far as to actually confess to a murder he didn’t commit. That could be seen as some dangerous roleplay or surveying a battle ground for future maneuvers.
Sparma is perfectly thrilled when he’s pulled into the interrogation room to face off against Det. Jimmy Baxter (Rami Malek). He luxuriates in the tension, and loves the décor. He stands in vast contrast to Stan Peters (Frederick Koehler), quite possibly the actual murderer, who’d earlier responded to the room with an almost claustrophobic paranoid mania.
But Peters is not the charismatic type. Leto’s Albert, meanwhile, has a bad boy quality which is just irresistible. At least it is to Denzel Washington’s measured portrayal of Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon, who sees the makings of a young Ted Bundy in the suspect. Recall that in Joe Berlinger’s bloodless feature film, Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, Zac Efron plays Bundy with an abundance of charm. The film came out amid a glut of documentaries about one of the most well-known serial killers from the late 20th century, and Twitter exploded with posts about how attractive Bundy was. 
Albert Sparma could have been his biggest fan.
Leto doesn’t bring the clean-cut, all-American hunk to his serial killer. He’s the rebel. His hair hangs so long, he has to move it out the way when he cooks. Sparma goes to strip clubs before cruising the strip. He wins a drag race with Deke while still in park. He plays so many mind games with Baxter his head explodes.
Dennis Lynn Rader, aka the BTK Killer, taunted the police by sending letters describing the details of his crimes. That’s an old trick though, going all the way back to Jack the Ripper, who also wrote to Scotland Yard about his alleyway antics. Son of Sam, the Lipstick Killer, the Golden State Killer, even the Axeman of New Orleans dropped personal notes on current events to the authorities. The Zodiac Killer wrote his in code.
They also sent letters to the newspapers. Sparma collects clippings and is up on all the true crime literature. Some people are attracted to serial killers out of a necessity to understand their acts. It is outside their reality, and it is even a coping mechanism. News reports explain how, but they don’t explain why such unimaginable crimes can be committed. They want to know how someone can go so dark. If Sparma is truly just a “confessor,” as even Det. Baxter finally accepts, that confession shows one aspect of the depths of his kind of obsession.
Some serial killer followers might be drawn out of the curiosity of how it feels to take a human life.
The body count in The Little Things is only four when Deke first double parks at the station. It grows as the case draws attention. Real-life serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer became celebrity monsters because of the attention they got from law enforcement and the media, and a collective curiosity for the macabre makes them larger than life. John Wayne Gacy committed his atrocities in a Pogo the Clown suit. And Sparma’s repairman overalls are a little baggy.
While Bundy was on trial, representing himself, he proposed to a woman, who not only accepted but married the convicted murderer, and conceived a daughter with him. Even in prison, Bundy received marriage proposals and love letters, as did Dahmer, Richard Ramirez, Chris Watts, and Charles Manson. Some may be drawn to the serial killer hoping to spark some transformation in an irredeemable beast; others might be prone to Hybristophilia, otherwise known as “Bonnie and Clyde Syndrome;” and some are just drawn toward the bright light of fame in any shade.
In Oliver Stone’s Natural Born Killers, Woody Harrelson’s Mickey Knox is a mass murderer, not a serial killer, by strict definition. Nonetheless, when he and his wife Mallory (Juliette Lewis) are walked up the stone steps to the courthouse, they are surrounded by adoring fans waving signs like “Kill Me Mickey.” Stone was making pointed social commentary in a fictional film, but his scenario was all too real.

The Little Things is not based on a true story. It goes back to a screenplay Hancock wrote in 1993, which was too dark for Steven Spielberg. For inspiration, Hancock had to look no further than California serial killers in the 1980s like the Grim Sleeper and Randy Kraft.
Written before the glut of serial killer movies took hold in the 1990s, The Little Things is similar to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho (1960) and the then-recent Jonathan Demme’s The Silence of the Lambs (1991) in that they are psychological thrillers, as opposed to the proto-slasher Leatherface in Tobe Hooper’s The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974). Yet all three of those films, from Norman Bates to Hannibal Lecter, were inspired by Ed Gein, who confessed to killing two people as well as digging up corpses from local cemeteries in the 1950s. Gein became internationally famous after being profiled in the book Psycho by Robert Bloch.
It’s no wonder an anonymous drifter might find comfortable skin to wear while traversing a sad, sick world. Sparma certainly walked the walk, and was up on his psychopathic patter.
“They are so friendly and so kind and very solicitous at the beginning of our work together,” forensic psychiatrist Helen Morrison wrote in her 2004 book My Life Among the Serial Killers. “They’re charming, almost unbelievably so, charismatic like a Cary Grant or a George Clooney.”
Sparma does everything short of asking Baxter for an autograph during their first meeting. Serial killer fans have been known to spend hundreds of dollars for a lock of a murderer’s hair. John Schwenk, a true crime afficionado from Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, has gotten follicles, false teeth, and even dental floss from serial killers on death row. He is a collector of murderabilia, and his portfolio includes a sketch of a skull by Richard “The Night Stalker” Ramirez and a portrait by John Wayne “The Killer Clown” Gacy.
A Texas senator named John Cornyn began pushing a bill to ban the sale of crime-related materials in 2007. It must have sounded like a good idea to the federal government. They pulled in $232,246 auctioning off the Unabomber’s belongings in 2011. Rodney Alcala, who was sentenced to death in California for five murders, put himself up for a romantic racket bid on a September 1978 installment of The Dating Game.
The Little Things reaches a satisfyingly ambiguous conclusion. The best evidence in the case is a boxful of newspaper clippings. Are they forensically clean trophies of past dark victories, or are they a scrapbook from one of the biggest true crime fanatics on the planet?
Charismatic serial killers are a movie stereotype now. Leto helps twist this trope by letting his character buy so completely into it we don’t know if he’s become one or is merely a victim.

When you get out of the truck, you glance over to the car and see Graham in the driver’s seat. He waves you over and you walk over to see what he wants.
“Aiden is too hammered to drive so Scarlett asked me to come pick you up and bring you to the apartment.” He tells you.
“Oh, ok.” You reply and walk around the black Jaguar, letting your fingers gently trace the hood. You caress the Jaguar ornament and then climb in the front seat. “Buckle up.” He says and you do.
He pulls away from the curb and heads off. “You look at him confused. Where are we going? I thought you were taking me to Aiden’s apartment.”
He smirks. “They are all at Richard’s right now. He’s having a party and so that’s where we are goin.”
You groan. “Graham!”
He just chuckles and pats your leg. “Don’t worry, Lass. You’ll be fine. Did ya go look at that apartment?” he asks as he switches lanes and topics.
“Yeah, I liked it. It’s right across the hall from the owners. I met the wife, she’s an adorable Irish lady and is really nice. She told me how much it was for rent, but I have to sit down and figure out all my bills to see if it is something that I’m gonna be able to afford in the long run. It’s a bit more expensive than my old apartment, so I don’t know.” You tell him.
He nods. “Well if it means keeping you safe, I’d say the difference in the rent would be worth it.” He tells you. “We can always help you out if ya have trouble swinging the full amount for the rent, Lass.” He reminds you.
You sigh and look out the window. “I know, but I would rather not have to be so dependent on others. I’ve been let down too many times and need to be able to know I can make it on my own in this world.” You say quietly.
He glances over at you and then looks back at the road.
“Have ya thought any more about what I said about gettin’ a guard dog to protect you?” he asks.
You nod. “Yeah. The lady at the apartment said that she would have to ask her husband if he would be okay allowing it. I’d have to pay a pet deposit in case there’s any damages it causes, and I’d have to consider food, vet bills, training, and yeah. It’s a lot of extra expenses, so I don’t know right now. I just started this job, and have been on disability after spending 3 months recovering from major surgery, so I will just have to see how things go.” You reply.
Graham looks surprised when you mention being on disability and the surgery. “Do ya mind me askin’ what ya had surgery on that it took three months to recover from?” he asks.
You are quiet for a minute then sigh, “I had to have a hysterectomy, I had a tumor growing in my womb that was taking up all the room and was causing a lot of pain and health problems for me. My doctor told me that either way, I’d never be able to have kids. So, I had the surgery to remove my womb so the health problems would stop being such an issue; and so yeah, now I’m ‘damaged goods’ as my ex calls me and not good for anything besides being a guy’s fuck toy.” You say quietly as you stare out the window.
Graham frowns when he hears your last comment. He slows down and pulls off to the side of the road. You look at him confused.
He puts the car in park and turns to you, and takes your face in his hands, “Sweetheart, I don’t know what kind of things your asshole ex said to you, but let me assure you, you are NOT damaged goods!
You are beautiful, sexy, and drop dead gorgeous. You are kind and compassionate, helpful and funny. There are many men who could care less that you can’t have kids. There are some that would find that a relief and embrace it with joy.
And if you decide you do want kids in the future, you can always adopt some. There is more to you than your ability to bear children. So, don’t ever, ever let anyone tell you that you are worthless, incomplete, or damaged goods because of your surgery, all right?” he tells you.
“You have more value than some asshole’s fuck toy. You are a beautiful, woman with a kind heart and a witty mind, and any man in his right mind would love to have you as his woman. You are more than what you give yourself credit for!”
You look at him stunned with tears trickling down your cheeks. “I… I…” you don’t know what to say to that. You lower your gaze. He caresses your face wiping away the tears with his thumbs.
“Lass, men like your ex, they either don’t understand the power of their words. They don’t understand how deeply those hurtful words can cut and how long lasting those wounds end up being, and how they taint the minds of those who they direct their words at… Or they do understand it, and use it to hurt others and lord themselves over others by trying to keep them torn down and in submission.
Don’t ever, ever believe what he told you about who you are and how you are or are not valued. Not for an instant. You… are… a … treasure! And the right guy will see it and treat you as if you were the only thing that mattered to him!” He tells you adamantly.
“Lass. Now you said back in the bookstore that your ex is on the loose again, I think we need to seriously consider getting you that dog.” He tells you. “At least you would have someone to watch your back and warn you if he shows up.” He tells you as he lets go of your face to pull some loose strands of hair out of your face.
You cry for a few minutes.
“I’m sorry, I’m just so scared. I feel and look like a totally worthless mess to anyone right now, I don’t deserve your kind words. Look at me! I’m not fit for going to a party to socialize.” You squeak out.
Graham chuckles, and hands you some tissues from the glove box. “Here.” He says as he lays them in your lap. He puts his hand on the back of your head and says, “Lass, you are deserving of my kind words, because they are the truth. You have been torn down by someone who is not fit to breathe, and the more you hear these kind words, the more you will be able to heal from the verbal abuse and lies he berated you with.”
As you dry your eyes and try to clean up your running mascara, and blow your nose, Graham says, “Lass. When you were shopping with Scarlett and I bumped into you, I was stunned. I’ve never seen hair so long and shiny on such a pretty head. You got my heart a racin, like I was a teen again.” He tells you.
You look at him in disbelief, and seeing him grinning mischievously, you giggle. “Really?”
He nods. “Even now, red eyes and all, you’re still pretty.” He says as he runs his hand along your hair, pulling stray strands from your face again, then grins.
“And yes, I enjoyed your little fashion show the other day. You have a wonderful body and are very pretty. You seemed confident and strutted like you were having the time of your life when you were shopping with Scarlett and also at the bar. You turned quite a few heads at The Squawking Raven’s that night… and not just Richard’s… Martin even said, “Hot Damn!” when he saw you!!! And it was in front of his wife! Luckily she laughed it off.” He tells you giggling. “You should’ve seen it!”
You look at him surprised.
“But, Sweetheart, believe me, there were all kinds of men checking you out that night. I had a clear shot of the whole bar from where I was standing. There wasn’t a guy in there who didn’t glance at you and your friend with hungry and appreciative eyes.” He tells you as he runs his hand through your hair once more.
“You have a unique kind of beauty. One which is on the inside that radiates out and highlights the outer beauty even more. Martin’s wife could even see it, and paid you a very high compliment! Which says a lot, because she doesn’t give them out freely very often!” he tells you.
“I know Scarlett implied you had a rough time with dating and men in the past, but Richard is the best thing that could happen to you, sweetheart. He cares about you immensely and hasn’t been able to stop thinking about you since he first laid eyes on you in the bar last night.
He is shy and sometimes is awkward when he gets nervous, but he has had his fair share of self-doubt about his looks too. He reacts to compliments about his looks the same way you do. Just be open to his actions and words, because they are genuine and from the heart when he says them. He is not one to say things lightly. It’s not like he’s asking to marry you right away!” He says with a laugh, earning a small smile from you.
“Just give him a chance, ok? I promise he will take good care of you if you let him. He isn’t like the other guys you’ve been with according to Scarlett. He won’t hurt you or take advantage of you, and he’ll want to pummel anyone who does.” Graham says with another laugh.
You chuckle. “Thanks Graham.” You say quietly. He nods and turns back to put the car in gear and pulls back out onto the freeway.
 You’re both quiet for the rest of the trip, lost in your own thoughts. You arrive at Richard’s place and are surprised by how modest it is for an actor. It’s not lavish like Aiden’s is.
Graham parks his Jaguar and then comes around to help you out. He leads you up to the door and opens it for you. You enter to the sound of laughter and music playing. You shyly hang back and wait for Graham to enter.
He chuckles and nudges you to go into the room. You step in and hear a loud and very drunk Aiden holler, “Harley!!!!” making you smile and laugh as he almost falls out of his chair. You look around at all the people in the room. There are some you recognize and others you don’t’ know. You feel Graham’s warm hand on your back leading you towards the group.
He introduces you to the people at the party that you don’t know, and you observe their faces and reactions. You see what he meant when he says they look at you hungrily, but notice it’s not in a lecherous way… mostly… it’s more in appreciation than anything.
He works his way introducing you to people as he heads for the kitchen with you. “Come on, Lass let’s get you some food and drink.” He tells you.
You stop dead in your tracks when you see Richard with an apron on, mixing a bowl of some kind of chocolate batter. He has a finger in his mouth, sucking off the batter when he turns and sees you. His eyes light up and he gets a huge smile on his face. He sets down the bowl, washes his hands, then comes over to you.
 You feel Graham’s hand leave your back and he moves to get food, leaving you to talk with Richard.
 “You came.” He says quietly as he reaches out tentatively to touch your elbows.
“I kind of got tricked into it.” You admit. “Scarlett said they’d come get me from work, then Graham shows up saying Aid was too drunk to drive so he came and got me. He didn’t mention the party till I noticed we weren’t heading to Aiden’s.” you tell him shyly.
 Richard chuckles. “I’m glad you came anyway.” He says as he cups your face with his right hand. “Have you eaten?” he asks.
 You shake your head, “No, haven’t had much of an appetite after the news I got during lunch. Just ended up munching on my fries and chocolate shake.” You say as you look at his chest, unwilling to look up at his face.
 He looks down at you concerned, then over to Graham. Richard hums, “We’ll talk about that in a while. For now, you need to eat, Sweetheart, even if you don’t feel like it.” He tells you gently. “We have a feast, so eat what you want.” He urges as he brings you to the kitchen and dining tables filled with all kinds of food. Your mouth begins to water. You nod, set your backpack in the corner and start putting food on your plate.
 As you fill your plate Graham comes round to talk with Richard. “Her ex sure did a number on her, Rich. Be patient with her. She has a lot of wounds that can’t be seen from the outside.” He tells him.
 Rich nods.
 “Rich, they let her ex out on bail. She’s absolutely terrified he’s gonna find her and do what he threatened to. He told her she’s only good for one thing…” he tells Rich.
 Rich looks at him with a look something between pissed and concerned. “And what is that?” he asks quietly.
 Graham glances back to see where you are at. “He called her ‘damaged goods’ because of the surgery she had to have, and told her she is only good for a ‘fuck toy’ now.
 I had a talk with her on the way back and tried to tell her that she is NOT damaged goods and has much more value than just a fuck toy. But just take it slow with her, man. She has a LOT on her plate right now and is feeling incredibly insecure and sees herself as trash because of how he treated her.” He quietly informs Rich.
 Rich is trying to remain calm, watching you fill your plate with food; but Graham sees his fists are clenched and his knuckles are white. Rich has his jaw clenched and Graham could hear him grinding his teeth. He realizes Rich is pissed and desperately trying not to blow up in front of everyone, especially you.
 “Rich, go do what you need to do to go calm down… where she won’t see or hear it.” I’ll keep her company till you get back.” He tells his friend, patting his shoulder and nudging him towards the basement door.

 Rich nods takes his apron off, and quietly goes down to the basement and starts pummeling his punching bag and growling and shouting. Taking out his frustration out on it.
 After a while, Lee Pace comes down to see where his friend went. He sees Richard red faced and punching his punching bag furiously.
 Lee stands there for a moment watching him. When Richard takes a break, Lee clears his throat to get Richard’s attention. Richard looks up and sighs, his shoulders slumping.
 Lee comes down the stairs and looks at his friend. “What’s the matter Rich? You’re having a party and you’re down here pissed. What happened?” he says as he holds out a glass of beer to Richard, who shakes his head, not wanting it.
 “Graham just informed me that the shithead ex of Harley’s got released from jail. Some shithead posted bail to get him out and Harley is positive he won’t abide by the restraining order. He really did a number on her verbally and psychologically.
 She had to have some kind of surgery that required several months to recover from, and he got upset about her needing to have it. Scarlett and Graham both said he called her all kinds of filthy names and now she feels like worthless trash and damaged goods.” He sighs and rubs his face.
 Lee frowns. “And let me guess, you want to date her?” he asks.
 Richard nods. “She has an inner beauty that just shines out of her. I can’t resist it. You should’ve seen her at the bar, Lee. She was confident, relaxed, happy and just beamed. Scarlett had taken her shopping, and got her to have her hair and makeup done. She was looking and feeling so confident and looked so sexy in what she wore! Now she is terrified and scared her ex will come after her and do what he threatened to do to her…” Rich says trailing off.
 I want to just pummel that asshole for how he treated her and warped how she feels about herself. I don’t know what to do, Lee. I want to help her see herself as the beautiful woman she is inside and out, but I don’t know how.” He says, frustrated, punching the bag again.
 Lee leans against the wall for a moment thinking. Let me think about it while we rejoin the party, you’ve beaten the punching bag enough for now. You don’t want to be gone too long, Rich or the party will migrate down here.” He teases. “Come on, let’s head back up. For now, just make sure she feels welcome and safe.” He tells his friend.
 Rich nods and starts to head back up the stairs. Lee following him.

 You make your way around the table placing a variety of enticing foods onto your plate. There was more food there than you’ve ever seen at a single party… and it all looked amazing.
You came back around and looked at Graham confused.
 He grinned, “He had to go take care of something, Lass. He’ll be back in a bit.” He tells you. “Do ya want anythin’ to drink?” he asks.
 You sigh. “I suppose he doesn’t have any Jameson, does he?”
 Graham’s eyebrows shoot up. “Jameson?” he asks surprised.
 “Yeah, or any whiskey, for that matter.” You reply. “I need a good, stiff drink.” You say with a grin.
 “Well, I have a bottle of Scotch whiskey in the freezer chilling if that’ll work for ya.” he tells you.
 You nod.
 He pulls out the bottle and grabs a whiskey glass. He looks at you and asks, “How do you want it?”
 You reply, “Straight.”
His eyes go wide, he nods and pours you about a shot’s worth. “Here, see if you like it before I pour you a whole glass.”
 You take it and down it in two gulps, not even sputtering as it burns its way down your throat.
You hand him the glass and grin. He does too and asks if you with a devilish grin if you want some ice. You smirk and nod. Remembering your conversation from the bar the other night.
 He puts some ice in the glass and pours it full for you. You go to take it, but he pulls it away. “Eat some, before ya have any more to drink, Lass. This is a bit stronger than that Jameson stuff yer used to.” He tells you.
 You pout and eat a couple sandwiches and some fruit. He grins and gives you the glass. “Make it last though, no gulping it down! Ya only get one of these buggers.” he says with a wink.
 You sigh and oblige the bald man.
 After a bit, you clear your plate of food and your tummy is happily full and you’re sipping on your Scotch Whiskey, when Richard comes up with Lee from the basement. You and Graham are on the far side of the living room watching some of the guests trying to play the game called ‘Twister’ and are laughing at the compromising positions they get into. Richard notices you took your trench coat off and it is draped over a chair in the kitchen by your backpack.
 You don’t see them come up from the basement door and Richard just stops and watches you as you laugh at Aiden as he falls over and is deemed ‘out’ by the rest of the group. Lee smiles at the look on your face and understands what Richard had meant when he said you just beamed when you were happy. He nudges Richard to move along the wall over to you.
 “Just keep her company and be supportive and kind, Rich.” He whispers in his friend’s ear, then moves off to observe the antics of the people playing the game from the other side of the room.
 Richard comes up behind you and is mesmerized by your long hair. You have it in a fish tail braid that reaches just past your waistline. His fingers itch to run through it and feel it’s softness.
 He comes up behind you and gently puts his hand on your shoulder. You startle a little and look up at him, but his loving smile disarms you instantly. “Hi.” You say. “Where’d you go?” you ask.
 He clears his throat. “Had to take care of something in the basement.” He says. “Are you enjoying watching the game?” he asks as he brings his hand down your hair to your midback.
 You laugh and nod. “It’s funny to watch. I remember playing it as a little girl with my friends. I think it’s more fun now to watch, especially with people drinking.” You giggle as Scarlett gets in a very compromising position with Orlando, who is doing his best to get her to laugh and fall over.
 Richard smiles. “You feeling better?” he asks after a while. You nod. “Food and whiskey.” You say with a grin.
 He leans down and gives your glass a sniff. “Is that the Scotch Whiskey Graham brought over?” he asks. You nod. “Yup.”
 Rich frowns. “How many have you had, Love?” he asks.
 You reply, “He gave me a shot to see if I’d like it, and then this glass, but it has ice in it, so it’s kinda watering it down the longer I let it sit. He told me I couldn’t down it all in one go. I have to nurse it cuz I only get one glass of it.” You tell him.
 Rich grins and nods. “Good.” He says as you turn back to watching the antics with the game. He stands behind you and puts his hands on your hips and gently pulls you to lean against him. Which you don’t seem to mind doing.
 Once the game finishes, someone decides to take out the karaoke machine and hooks it up to the surround sound system. Richard groans and puts a hand up to his face…and you start laughing.
 “What’s the matter, Rich, not up for karaoke?” Someone teases. He just chuckles and tells them to have at it, but not to turn the music up any higher. “I don’t need the cops called on us.” he tells them.
 The two of you work your way to the side wall by the stairwell where you can watch his friends sing and dance to the music.
 You finish your glass of whiskey and start sucking on the ice till it’s small enough to chew on.
 Richard cringes when he hears you chewing the ice. “You realize how bad that is for your teeth?” he asks.
 You nod. “I like how it feels.” You say. “I’ve chewed on ice since I was a kid. My dentist says my teeth are fine.” You tell him as you pop another ice cube into your mouth and suck on it.
 He leans down and asks, “I have other things you can suck on instead of ice, if you want.”
 You look up at him and raise an eyebrow, wondering what exactly he is referring to and if he meant the innuendo or not.
 He takes your hand and pulls you into the kitchen. He opens the freezer and points to the popsicles and the ice cream cones coated in chocolate and chopped peanuts.
 Your eyes light up and you grab the box of popsicles. You dig around till you find a cherry one. You giggle with delight and hand him the box back. He is grinning at your antics and puts the box back in the freezer and closes the door.
 “Oh my gosh! I haven’t had a popsicle since I was a little kid! These were my favourites! I’d eat all the cherry and grape ones and leave the orange ones for my parents!” you giggle as you tear it open and pop it in your mouth. Your eyes close and you make a little happy noise.
 Richard moves back to lean against the counter in the kitchen by the sink and is watching you. He is trying desperately not to let his mind go in the gutter. But you are making it SO damn easy to do. He watches your eyes close as you pop it into your mouth and twirl your tongue around the top of the cherry popsicle.
 The little happy noises you are making cause him to grin and he can feel himself getting hard. He is wondering now if this was such a good idea. The more he watches you enjoying the popsicle, the more he wants your lips someplace else on him.
 He groans quietly and rubs his face. Graham comes walking in to grab another beer and sees you eating the popsicle. He stares for a moment, and Rich can tell the instant his brain goes in the gutter. He looks up at Rich with a raised eyebrow and an evil smirk. He opens his mouth to say something and Richard gives him a glare and shakes his head. Gram winks, and closes his mouth. He grabs the beer from the fridge and walks over to him.
 Cracking open the beer, he leans against the sink next to Rich. “What were ya thinkin’ giving her an iced lolly?” he whispers.
 Richard shrugs, “Thought it’d be better than hearing her chew on ice cubes… but now I’m thinking the ice cubes were the better option.” He whispers back.
 By now you are completely oblivious to the indecent thoughts the two are having while watching you enjoying the popsicle. By the time you finish it, they are both uncomfortably hard and luckily Rich’s apron is covering it, so it isn’t noticeable.
 Graham on the other hand, is struggling. Rich is giggling and teases him quietly and suggests he head to the rest room to ‘take care of it’. Graham groans and nods.
 Rich realizes he left the chocolate batter on the counter when you came in and turns to pour it into the muffin cups. You stand there in the kitchen and watch him, and admire his lovely ass as he works.
 “What are you making?” you finally ask, when you see him pouring the batter into the muffin cups.
 “Chocolate cupcakes, I believe you call them.” He replies as he opens the oven and bends to put the pan in to bake. He sets the timer and turns to look at you. Your cheeks are rosy and your ears and neck are pink.
 He grins and comes over to check on you. “You feelin’ all right, Love?” he asks. You nod, “Just a little warm… must be the whiskey.” You reply sheepishly.
 “Mmmmmhmmm.” Richard says with a raised eyebrow and his panty melting smirk. “Something tells me you were enjoying the view.” He teases, making you blush even more.
 You duck your head and squirm under his gaze.
 He chuckles, “It’s okay, Love.” He says and pulls you in for a hug, making you squeak in surprise.
 You giggle when ‘Pretty Woman’ comes on and Richard starts to sing it quietly to you while he holds you in the hug and sways from side to side a little.
 He holds you like that till the song ends and there is a roar of laughter from the living room.
 “I don’t even want to know who was performing that one in there.” He mumbles rubbing his face.
“I much preferred your version.” You giggle. He looks down at you and smiles. He plants a kiss to the top of your head.
 You take your whiskey glass from off the counter and pop the last ice cube in your mouth and suck on it. Richard rolls his eyes and shakes his head. “Little Ice monster you are!” he says, “What am I to do with you?” he teases.
“Well, I can think of a few things.” You tease. And stick the ice out of your lips then suck it back in.
 You see his eyes open wide and dilate and he takes a couple steps over to you. He hesitantly takes you in his arms and leans down to give you a tentative kiss. You allow him to, remembering Graham’s words, ‘to give Richard a chance’.
 He is gentle with you and gives you light kisses. You smile and stick the ice between your lips and tease his with it. He grins and takes it in his teeth as he kisses you and tugs it out of your mouth and traces your lips with it then drops it into his mouth.
Your eyes get huge. “Hey, give that back!” you tell him.
 He smirks, “Come get it.” He says in a husky voice and rolls it around on his tongue to tease you. You reach up and tug his head down and your lips crash into his. Your tongue prodding his lips to part and give you back your ice cube.
He chuckles, wraps his arms around your waist and lets you part his lips with your tongue only to find his teeth clamped shut. He is grinning at your frustration. You tease his lips and then start to move down his neck with kisses and your fingers gently scratch the back of his scalp as you drag your fingers through his hair.
 He closes his eyes for a moment enjoying the feeling. Then he brings your head back up to his and kisses you soundly, tasting the cherry popsicle on your tongue and slipping the ice chip back into your mouth as the two of you bat it back and forth with your tongues until it completely melts.
 You pull back when you need air and look up at him dazed. He grins and tells you. “I like that game with the ice chip. What shall we call it?” he asks you with his lopsided grin.
 You shrug, “Don’t know…Ice hockey?” you ask. He smirks. “Perhaps… or maybe just ‘Pass the ice?’ ”
 You both bust up laughing then Graham comes walking in. “What’s so funny, you two?” he asks with a raised eyebrow when he sees you both laughing and have red lips and chins.
 You look at Richard with a huge grin and reply, “Ice hockey.” Which makes Richard bust up laughing again and sends you into a fit of giggles.
 Graham looks at the two of you confused. He goes to retrieve his beer from the kitchen counter where he had left it, then turns and says, “No more whiskey for you, Lass.” And heads out into the living room.
 The two of you are still in a fit of giggles when Martin comes in looking for the alcohol. He takes one look at you and comes over.
 “Ahhh, if it isn’t the mysterious lady in black leather who enraptured my dear friend, Richard! I’m sorry I didn’t have the pleasure of meeting you the other night at the bar. I’m Martin.” he tells you as he takes your hand and kisses the top of it.
 You giggle and tell him, “I’m Harley, nice to meet you Martin.” You reply and lean against Richard still giggling about the ice hockey game.
 “What has you two giggling in here when the party is out in the living room?” he asks. You look up at Richard who is trying to keep it together. You look back to Martin and say with a completely deadpanned face, “Ice Hockey”…. Which sets Richard into another fit of giggles.
 Martin quirks an eyebrow. You lean into him and say, “You should try it with your lady friend who was with you at the bar sometime when she starts kissing you.” And you lean back and wink.
He doesn’t get your drift at first then you go to the freezer and pick out an ice cube and pop it in your mouth, then you turn to him, and stick it out of your lips, hold it between your teeth and give it a wiggle with your tongue then suck it back in your mouth.
 Martin’s eyes get huge and he looks between you and Richard, who has turned his back to you both still giggling and trying to regain his composure. You raise your eyebrows and Martin chuckles and says, “I might just have to try that! Thanks for the suggestion!” he says with a smirk and a wink.
 You close the freezer door and then open it again and grab a handful of ice and go put it in your cup. You go back and dig around in the freezer and find a bottle of Jameson someone hid and pour yourself a glass. Then put it back.
 Martin chuckles and asks if you like strong drinks. You nod. He asks if you tried Graham’s Whiskey and you nod. “He said I could only have one glass though, but he didn’t say I couldn’t have my wonderful Jameson…” you giggle.
 Martin chuckles again and turns to Richard who finally regains his composure and turns to face you. Richard turns just as you were pouring the Jameson and gives you a look with a raised eyebrow. You smirk and Martin says, “I like this one, she can come party with us any time you care to bring her with!”
 When Richard saw you take a drink of the Jameson and stuck the ice cube from your mouth out of your lips at him, he knew he was going to have his hands full with you tonight. He covered his grin with his hand and nodded to Martin, who just winked at Richard, grabbed a beer from the fridge and went back into the living room.
 Richard chuckles at you and wraps you in his arms. “Graham did say ‘no more whiskey.” He reminds you.
 You just shrug. “He can say what he likes, but it doesn’t mean I’m gonna listen.” You reply, grinning.
 Richard rolls his eyes at you. “How about another round of ‘Pass the ice’?” he asks with an impish grin. You return the grin and he starts to kiss you soundly, the two of you passing the ice cube between your mouths as he explores your mouth and enjoys the tase of the whiskey on your tongue. You explore his mouth and enjoy the taste of chocolate on his.
 Suddenly the alarm on his phone goes off and he breaks the kiss after passing you the ice cube back into your mouth.
 He hurries over to the oven, shuts off the alarm and takes the pot holder out of the drawer. He opens the oven, then takes out the muffins and sets them on the rack to cool. Then turns off the oven.
 The two of you wander out into the living room and chuckle as someone decided it was enough with the karaoke and had put in Star Wars. Everyone was either sitting on the furniture or on the floor watching it. Richard chuckles remembering filming the scenes he did for that particular film.
 You look at the movie playing and whisper to him, “Isn’t this the one you have a few scenes in?” he looks surprised and nods. He moves over to a side chair and sits down, pulling you into his lap. The two of you sit there watching the movie and you sip the whiskey. When you finish it, Richard takes the glass and sets it on the side table.
 You are sitting across his lap with your legs hanging off the side. You lean your head against his shoulder and close your eyes listening to the movie and picturing what was going on.
 Richard feels you lean your head against his shoulder, and he grins. He reaches up and puts a hand on your head. Happy you feel comfortable enough to be doing this with him. Maybe it’s the alcohol you consumed, but regardless, he is happy for the moment. He looks over at Lee, who mimics sleeping and points to you.
 Richard shakes his head, no. Lee grins and mouths “soon”. And Richard raises his eyebrows as if saying, “maybe”.
 About a half hour later he feels you start to get heavier. He shifts and you don’t stir. Lee mimics sleep again and points at you and Richard nods. Lee chuckles and comes over. He squats down and brushes some hair out of your face. You’re out like a light and are oblivious to the world around you.
 “What are you going to do with her, Rich?” he asks quietly.
 Richard looks down at you and then around at the guests who are either sleeping already or on their way there. He sighs, “I guess we’re having a slumber party as well.” He chuckles quietly.
 Lee looks around and nods. “Want me to turn off the movie?” he asks.
Richard says, “Naah. Let it play. I think I’ll go put her in one of the beds upstairs, then I’ll come back down to put the food away, so it doesn’t spoil.
 “I’ll help with that then I gotta get going. I have to do some voice overs for a movie I’m in tomorrow, so I won’t be able to stay.” He tells you.
 Richard nods. “Here, can you take her so I can get up?” he asks.
 Lee chuckles and nods. He bends down and carefully scoops you out of Richard’s lap then steps back a few paces.
 Richard stands and stretches, then Lee passes you back to Richard, who carries you upstairs and takes you to his bedroom. He lays you down in the bed and struggles to remove your corset, he finally gets it unhooked and slides it out from under you, leaving you in your shirt and pants. He carefully pulls off your boots and socks and sets them on the floor by the chair and puts your corset on the chair’s cushion.
 He kisses your forehead and covers you up with his blankets.
 Then he heads down and finds Lee and Graham both helping to clean up and put the food away in the fridge and freezer.
 They talk with Richard about you and the three of them decide that you need a guard dog. Richard says he will talk to you about it tomorrow and will find out what kind of dog you’d like if you could have one.
 Lee and Graham both tell Richard to let them know and they will help cover the costs for the stuff for the dog. Richard thanks them.
 “She is a wonderful woman, Rich. I saw the two of you in the kitchen and you were both belly laughing at something. All Martin would say was ‘Ice hockey’ and would just smirk. I haven’t seen you this happy and laughing in a very long time. I hope things work out with you two.” Lee tells Rich. “If things do work out, I want an invite to the wedding!” he teases.
 Rich just laughs and nods. “IF, they work out, you will get an invite, Lee.” Richard chuckles.
 “For now, we’ll just take things one day at a time.” Richard says.
 “Good idea.” Graham replies, and Lee nods.
 “I’ll see you two later. Have a good rest of the night.” Lee tells them and then heads out the door.
 Graham turns and looks at Rich. “What are ya gonna do with her?” he asks.
 “I put her in one of the beds upstairs to sleep off the hangover I’m sure she’ll have in the morning.” Rich explains.
 Graham raises an eyebrow.
 “Don’t worry, Graham, I won’t take advantage of her.” He says smacking Graham on the arm.
 “Ya better not, or I’ll beat your head in!” he warns.
 Richard just chuckles. “Got a soft spot for her too?” Rich teases.
 “Yeah, like she was my kid, so don’t hurt her, or you’ll be answerin’ to me!” he warns. “Scarlett said she has no family, so I guess in a way, that makes me her Pops since I found her first, out of our cluster fuck of friends!” Graham tells him teasingly.
 Richard just chuckles, “Ok, old man, then I guess I won’t tell you she found the Jameson in the freezer and had a glass of that too.” He says grinning.
 Graham rolls his eyes and rubs his face. “And ya didn’t stop her why?” he asks, mildly annoyed.
 “Ice Hockey” Richard replies.
 Graham raises an eyebrow, and rubs his temples, “Ya know what, I don’t want to know…I’m heading home. Call me when ye find out about the dog so I can call my friend and see what he’s got.”
 Richard nods. “You gonna be ok to drive?” he asks.
 “Yeah, haven’t had any alcohol now for a few hours.” He replied.
 “Ok, see ya later.” Rich says as they head for the door. He watches Graham head for his Jaguar and watches him leave. He turns and closes the door, locking it. Then turns off the dvd and tv and heads up to the bedroom to check on you.
 He sits down on the bed and brushes hair out of your face. You don’t even flinch. He yawns and takes off his shirt and pants, then puts on a pair of sweats. He is warm and climbs onto the bed, laying on top of the sheets and comforter.
 You roll onto your back and he chuckles and scoots over closer to you. You sense his warmth and snuggle over to him and curl up into his side, still sound asleep.
 He chuckles and lets you be. He closes his eyes and plays with your hair till he falls asleep with you cradled in his arm.

Chapter 15 The Bell Doesn’t Dismiss You (Tedgens)
Ted puts his arm around me, like that way that guys do in movies and shitty commercials. I'm the unrealistically attractive teenage cheerleader in this scenario! Every gay boys dream. But that's demeaning and  I don't believe that.
But here I am in the arms of a jock. I am one lucky son of bitch. Not that my moms a bitch.
I can't tell if Ted is enjoying the movie. I hope he is. It's so good I don't understand how you couldn't love it.
I Feel Pretty starts, I know all the words to this song. I mean I know all the words to all of the songs, but I really like this song. I want to sing along full volume but that would be annoying. So I'll have to settle for slightly humming.
I hope I don't ruin the song for him.
"I feel pretty
Oh, so pretty"
"You are pretty." Ted whispers in my ear. Chills
go up my spine. He has to know what he's doing. There's no way. I'm 100% blushing like crazy.
"I feel pretty, and witty and gay" #relatable content. 
"Pretty, witty and gay? That sounds familiar." Ted doesn't whisper that. He's a fucking dork. Really. He maybe athletic and vaguely popular or whatever, but he just likes making shitty jokes and hanging out.
He maybe adorable but he's disrupting the movie.
"Shhhhh watch the movie."
Ted chuckles softly. His laugh is just... so good.
I rest my head on his shoulder. I hope that wasn't like too bold a move. It's just my head is getting heavy, and he's right there.
He does that thing where he rests his head slightly on top of mine. What did I do to deserve this! I still can't comprehend it really. The infamous Ted Richards.
The movie ends. I look to Ted to see his reaction, not yet tainted by not overwhelming opinion.
"It was good."Just good! That's ridiculous. "I like the music."
"The music is the important part, at least in this one." Everyone knows the story of Romeo and Juliet, you don't walk into the theater not knowing they're going to die. The music is where it's at. "Leonard Bernstein is a genius. The music of this show is just so beautiful. The classical and the Latin music just." I don't know how to put it into words, but it really is brilliant. "I don't know how to explain it."
I hope he understands really just how great it is.
"We'll just have to watch it again sometime." Ted smiles his amazing wonderful smile. I know I'm smiling ear to ear like a little kid on Christmas. I want to kiss him.
Ted turns his head and grabs his phone.
His smile drops. He's reading something but i can't see what.
He looks scared. So I'm guessing no one died. I want to know what happened. He spent all this time helping me out, I want to help him.
"Hey can I spend the night here?" He would only ask that if something was really wrong at home. But if something was really wrong wouldn't he be running home? It could be unrelated but the look in his eyes tells me it's not. "I sleep on the couch."
"Yeah is everything alright?" Oh how the tables have turned, in the least favorable way for everyone.
"I just can't go home."
What does that mean? I don't want to pry but I want to make sure he's safe. I guess the best way to do that is to let him stay. I don't know if that's the best call though. I don't know the whole story.
"Of course you can stay here."
Ted smiles a little. I really hope everything in his world will sort itself out.
"Thank you." He kisses my forehead.
"Do you have your backpack and all your stuff for school tomorrow?" I want to make sure he has everything he needs. "You can borrow some of my clothes for tomorrow."
Ted laughs a little bit. But not like a happy little laugh, a sad pessimistic laugh.
"My backpack is always in my car, I have a couple spare clothes and pajamas in my car too." He sighs "always gotta be prepared."
So this happens a lot to him. That's what I'm getting from this. I take it his house isn't really a safe place to be. I feel bad, up till today I never really saw him as a human being with his own problems.
"Ok." It's convenient my parents aren't here. They would probably kick him out. The air is heavy I don't like it. "It's a good thing my parents aren't home. They probably wouldn't let you stay."
"Why is that?" The fear from Ted's eyes starts to fade. The tension in him seems to release slightly.
"They don't know you. They let Emma and Norah stay because they know them." That's not the only reason. "Also they're girls. My mom would assume you were my boyfriend and-"
"What's wrong with that?" Ted gets a little mischievous smile on his face. My face heats up.
"We haven't even gone on a date, Ted. You just showed up at me house and kissed me in my kitchen." That might shut him down.
"Well when you say it like that, I sound like a creep." Ted chuckles again. An actual laugh, and not a sad sympathetic one. I hope I was able to make him feel slightly better.
"Funny how that works." I smile.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Ted raises his eyebrow and shifts closer to me. Look at him. He shouldn't be allowed to be that attractive.
"You tell me." I smile and lean in as well.
Ted grabs my face kisses me again. And kisses me and kisses me and kisses me. This is pleasant. I really like this.
"So what do you want to do now?" I say as ted pulls back to catch his breath. "Because I want to get to know you better."
I know him but I don't really know him that well y'know.
"Ok. What do you want to know." Ted shifts uncomfortably. I just realized I'm basically on top of him. So I move off of him.
Shit what do I want to know?
"Well I know your favorite color. Soo. What's your favorite holiday?" That a lame question.
Ted kind of mulls it over. It's not that complicated a question.
"I would say Christmas but I don't like hanging out with my family. So like Christmas with friends." Ted shrugs "I'm guessing yours is Halloween."
"What yeah how did you know?" I'm not that predictable. I'm not! Halloween is a common favorite holiday. Not that I'm basic or anything.
"Well it's a really dramatic holiday. You're a theatre dork so. It makes sense." Ted smiles slightly.
I guess I am that predictable.
After a couple of hours of asking each other questions later I'm laid down on the couch with my head on Ted lap. We're still asking each other questions.
This is really a lot of fun. I knew he was hot but he's also super cool.
"Ok wait. Dragons or dinosaurs?" I look up at him. It's kind of a stupid question. I mean the obvious answer is dra-
"Dinosaurs" Ted nods like that's somehow the right fucking answer. Fucking dinosaurs.
"What! That's ridiculous! The answer is obviously dragons." I sit up so I can get a better look at the man who just said that dinosaurs are better than dragons. Dinosaurs! That's utterly fucking ridiculous. How the fuck? I don't even. How.
"What dinos are pretty cool." Look at him trying to defend his extremely wrong opinion. Seriously. That is ridiculous.
"Cooler than dragons? Look me in the eye and say that dinosaurs are cooler than dragons." I look him in the eyes. He stares back at me seriously.
"Dinosaurs are cooler than dragons." Ted sounds like he means it.
"How?!" I have no idea how that train of thought works. Fucking dragons are rad.
"I don't know." Ted thinks about some bullshit reasoning. "They're real. Well not anymore. But like they existed."
"What? How does that make them cooler?" I don't understand. "Dragons can breath fire!"
"I guess we'll have to agree to disagree." Ted shrugs. Like it's not a big deal that he's so dead wrong.
"I don't know that I can get over this ted. This might be a deal breaker." I mean I'm obviously joking. But I mean seriously. HOW ARE DINOSAURS BETTER?
"You're kidding." Ted almost looks like he believes me. Which is kind of adorable.
"I am." I lean in and kiss him lightly. "But you are a dumbass"
"That is correct." Ted smiles sweetly.
I catch a glimpse of the clock on the wall. 11:47.
"It's getting late. We should go to sleep soon." I try to stand up. Ted wraps his arm around my waist and rests his head on my stomach.
"Noooo sleep is stupid." His hold on me tightened. I don't want to go to sleep either. Because he's in my house and my parents aren't. But that irresponsible behavior or whatever.
"Sleep is important, Ted."
He looks up at me with big old puppy dog eyes. He lets go and pouts. He knows he's adorable and he's going to use that against me. But I am strong and it won't work. Ted sighs.
"My stuff is still in my car. I'll go get it." Ted stands up and heads out to his car.
I start to put stuff away. I walk up the stairs and walk into the bathroom and start to brush my teeth. I can hear him opening the front door. I finish brushing my teeth and go down to meet him.
"So I'm sleeping on the couch?" He's holding a little bag. I don't really want him to be alone in the living room.
"You don't have to." Ted's eyebrows shoot up. Jesus Christ. "I just don't want you to be alone."
"Awww you care about me." Ted smiles and giggles. He grabs my face and kisses me again.

Oh my god Ted's wearing race car pajamas. He's the cutest fucking person oh my god. I just sleep in old show shirts and sweatpants. Never in my wildest dreams would I imaging Ted in fucking race car pajamas.
"I need a picture of you in those for personal reasons." I'm sitting on my bed watching him get his little sleeping bag ready.
"Pervert." Ted looks up at me and winks.
"I am not! You just look adorable." I can't help but laugh a little bit. He does look a little ridiculous but adorable nonetheless.
"Damn right!" Ted chuckles a little bit. He continues to set up his sleeping bag on my fuzzy rug. That probably a little comfortable, but it's still sleeping on the floor.
"You don't have to sleep on the floor."
Ted looks up at me with a big old smile on his face.
"Pervert!" He laughs some more.
"I am not!" I throw a pillow at him. Ted pulls an over dramatic offended face.
"Oh really?" Ted raises a single eyebrow and walks slowly towards me.
"I'm not!"
Ted sits down on my lap. My breathing slows. Oh god oh god oh god oh god what is happening? WHY CAN'T I BREATH.
"are you sure about that?" Ted almost whispers.
I can't speak. Physically words will not come out of my mouth. My heart rate is going a million miles per hour.
Ted kissed me quickly. He stands up and goes over to his sleeping bag. I watch him lay down. He rolls over to face me.
"Good night, Henry." He smiles. What the fuck? My heart beat is still super fast.
"Night, Ted." I stand up and go turn off the light. I look over at him. He is a confusing wonderful person. I lay back in my bed. I need to sleep. I close my eyes.
Sleep.
Simple.
If you tell anyone
SLEEP.
Jesus Christ that was hours ago. It wasn't a big deal. Just a misunderstanding. I'm remembering it wrong nothing happened.

SE4SON: Chapter 20
Jimmy, Nick, and everyone else sat at the main dining room table, helping themselves to a bowl of warm soup, and leafy green salads. Diana refused to eat anything prepared in the king's domain. Benson was sipping his soup slowly. Rodent Girl slurped hers in one gulp, then asked when's dinner ready. Sally merely swayed her spoon back and fourth in the bowl. Jimmy and Nick hardly touched their soups, for they were too disturbed by the painted portraits of the king. He was even naked in some of them. Despite Nick's lost of appetite, he felt like he needed something to drink. He slowly reached his hand towards the wine glass, before having it slapped by Jimmy's. No matter what century they're in, Nick is still too young for the consumption of alcohol. Jason was getting testy over this silence.
"Hmmmm... Seems to be getting awfully too quiet in here. I know! How 'bout a little story to lighten the mood? *Ahem* One time, on a dull summer of July, I had evicted a family of six because of a two day rent due and-"
King Jason's story was cut off as the servants carried the dishes to the table. There were large assortments of meat, vegetables, seafood, and dessert. Some dishes looked scrumptious, while some looked disgusting. Although, the "disgusting" ones were considered normal to medieval standards. The new cook, Stuart, helped Jimmy and Nick to his special of the day: Stewed rabbit meat served in bread trenchers.
"It's really badger meat. I couldn't catch the little rascal. But hey, fast food isn't good for you anyways. Please don't tell the king."
Every meal made it to the table, but King Jason wasn't ready to let anyone eat yet. No, ever since that incident with the last cook, the king came prepared. He called in the royal taste-tester. The royal taste-tester was a skinny, pale 17 year-old young man who looked like he hasn't been fed enough. When granted permission by Jason, the royal taste-tester was very excited to check for poison, as if he hasn't ate all day. One dish by one, he took a tiny sample from each of the food, trying it, and savoring it. Jimmy and Nick were weirded out. After letting Jason know that the cuisine is safe, the king asked him to leave. Everyone, excluding Diana, dug in. Jimmy and Nick started with their stewed badger meat, which was very hard to work down due to its "unique" taste. Nick traded in his stew for a turkey leg, and managed to feed himself without revealing his face. He just stuffed the drumstick into his helmet, then 10 seconds later, he pulls out a clean bone.
Benson was trying to decide on what he wanted to eat, before Rodent Girl eats it first. Speaking of Rodent Girl, she's just enjoying herself like a hungry hog, with the most ghastly table manners Jason ever witnessed. Diana stubbornly sat in her seat, arms crossed, refusing to touch the tainted food in front of her. Butterscotch took big bite chunks out of any dish he looked at, without even bothering to finish the whole thing. He delivered a forthright critique to the king about how his cook's meals tasted cut-rate compared to Nick Dean's gourmet art of gastronomy, but of course Jason only heard "Neeeiiigh whiiiineeey." Sally, being such a child she is, decided to skip to dessert, and grabbed an entire plate of shortbread cookies. She then accidentally dropped her napkin. Sally dove under the table to retrieve it, when suddenly, she saw that Jimmy and Nick were holding each other's hands. It was out of intimidation, but it looked like intimacy to her. She covered her mouth to drown out her squeal of excitement. Meanwhile, the king spoke silently among his chancellor.
"Look at them, Richard. Look at them. *At Rodent Girl* Disgusting. *At Diana* Arrogant. *At Sally* Immature. They're all a bunch of circus freaks. Who ever gave them the right to exist? But it's okay. I can tolerate their actions a little longer, *Points to Jimmy and Nick* just as long as these two sickos will take me to my awaited treasure. You can't find the nest unless the PIGEONS lead you to it. After that, I won't have to deal with them, or their reject friends, anymore."
Jason shifted an eye to the right to find that Benson was sitting at the far right of the table, close to the king. We all know what he was doing.
"Were you eavesdropping on the king, peasant?!" Asked Jason, in a strict tone. "N-no, your greatness! I j-just wanted to get away from Miss Oona's messy station!" Stuttered Benson. "There are plenty of empty chairs around! Now begone, before I have my guards escort you out!" "Y-yes, your greatness!"
Benson got up and ran to the farthest seat of the table. Meanwhile, the king was ready to make his proposal. He tapped his spoon on his wine glass to get everyone's attention.
"Good now. As did promise-"
Jason was then interrupted by Rodent Girl's noisy eating. That died down eventually.
"As did promise-"
This time, he was interrupted by Rodent Girl's loud slurping. That died down, too.
"As did promise-"
Now Rodent Girl was hacking.
"SILENCE, VERMIN!"
Rodent Girl then hesitated.
"As did promise, we shall be discussing the other half of our negotiation! Richard! Present to them the diagram!"
Richard was excused from his seat, then he gave Jimmy a piece of paper with a sketch drawing on it. It seems that Jason has never improved, cuz the boy genius thought he was a bad artist himself. He couldn't make out the object in the sketch.
"You want us to get you a headband with a heart patch on it?" Asked Jimmy. "No." Replied Jason. "Maybe he wants us to draw a better picture." Nick added. "NO! You mean you don't recognize it?" "Well, sometimes we have trouble reading certain art styles. We're not saying it's bad. *Nudges Nick* Wouldn't you agree, my fair knight?" "For crying out loud. You should know by now, you made it! It's the Amulet of Bind!" "Oh! That! Now rings a bell! That thing I made, a long time ago! For a special happy time!" "I hope it isn't too much to ask, but, I need this amulet. Please, this amulet is worth more to me than my own life! Ever since as a child, it's all I've been thinking of! Please, noble ones!" "Alright, it's yours!" "You mean... ...just like that? You want me to take it off your hands?" "Yeah, of course! Why would we miss one piece of jewel? I make plenty of other jewels for a living, and thinking of opening a jewelry store! We allow credit." "If there's anyone who knows how to turn coal into diamonds, it's him!" Nick added again. "Then what, after we retrieve this so-called amulet, bright eyes? You'll 'redeem yourself and become a more gentle king of milk and honey?'" Diana questioned the king. "Nah! I wast bethinking of packing up everything I owneth, departure this fusty village, and then opening up a new kingdom someplace else! I couldst make a much bigger one, with the fortune pawned from that rare amulet! It's worth at least a billion nowadays!" "You mean... ...you'll be leaving us?!" "That, and thee shall be free to doth whatever thee wishes! I'm taking everything, and throwing away the key! You could even elect a new king!" "YIPEE! *Jumps up from her seat* Boy, that sounds-! Wait a minute, your greatness. Why the heck would you want to leave your own village anyways? You were here long enough for the cemetery to run out of spaces, and burial was replaced with cremation! You said so yourself that you devoted your name to this village!" "Well that devotion was a lie, woman! I'm tired of being cooped up in this stinking four wall prison you call a township!" "(Even though you constructed those walls yourself.)" "I wanna step up my game! I want a big land to take charge of! Millions of people to worship me! They will be my new walls! I want not to be superior of just some dinky dram village! I want to be superior of a whole land, and then allow my kingship to grow until I'm known throughout the world! Wherefore am I talking to you anyways, mistress?! I shouldst be talking to them!"
Jimmy hesitated for a moment, before he was ready to say something. Nick stopped stuffing bits of food into his helmet and joined his friend. Everyone laid eyes on the two carefully, except Rodent Girl, who was still eating. With the king gone, everyone can now live in peace. The Faithful Five may never have to steal again. Of course, they may need to elect a new decent king, just to keep the whole village system arranged. This sounded like a too good of a deal to demur at. Having Jason out of everyone's hair could be what the peasants need. Jimmy was about to come to terms, but then he began to have a second thought. Jason may leave these people alone, but will he put his newfound town through the same jeopardy? What if he resorts back to hanging, capitalism, and leaving misfits to die? Rulers like him, who commit terrible atrocities, don't change that easily.
"Your greatness!" Jimmy spoke up. "Yesssssss?" Answered Jason. "You can have the amulet if you promise your new citizens: No more strict rules with overzealous penalties! Nourishment, medical management, and housing must be affordable! You have to provide equality for all if you're gonna be a good republic representative!" "Well,I'll be blown. What shall befall of me if be true I hold not my gage?" "Then I'll... ...summon my magical spies on you! That's right! I have spies everywhere! In the trees! In the skies! Did I mention they're also invisible? Once they report your actions to me, I'll cast a spell that'll morph you into a big pile of cow pie!" "Besides, the more people die, the less of the population to worship you!" Said Nick.
The guards felt threatened, but the king managed to calm them down. After that, Jason got up from his seat, and walked towards Jimmy. The boy genius began sweating in anxiety. Nick also got up from his seat, then stood in front of his friend with his life. The king looked very menacing. Nick was so scared, his armor was clattering. Jason shoved the tiny knight aside, and then offered Jimmy his hand.
"It's settled."
Forcing a smile upon his face, Jimmy shook the king's hand out of respect.
"Alright! *Claps hands* Chop-chop! Dinner is officially over! Time to give me what I've been patient for!" Shouted the king. "You want it now?" Asked Jimmy. "No, I plan to wait another year- Of course, I mean now! We're heading straight to your Research Edifice!"

The king invited everyone on a carriage ride. Butterscotch, already being a horse, had to walk on foot. Jimmy read through Mr. Philips' diary again, so he could learn anything about this Amulet of Bind, and the history behind it. Sure, it's worth a fortune, but the king acted as though it was much more important than that. Not even Sally knew about this amulet.
"Are you really gonna turn the king into cow pie?" Whispered Sally. "No, but I thought I could scare him into believing me." Jimmy whispered his response. "Ughhhhhhh, I hope you guys gain your memories back soon."
The carriage eventually came to a stop, and everyone stepped out. They made it. They've reached the Wise Wizard's Research Edifice. At least that's what it said on the sign. Jimmy and Nick studied the building up close. It was shaped differently from all the other architecture in the village. This tower was built in a cylinder form. The building had been abandoned for so long, it was now covered in moss and flowers. It was also huge. Almost bigger than the king's castle. It was tall enough to reach the clouds. The boys were both surprised King Jason hasn't torn this place down yet.
"Sure takes you back, doesn't it?"
Sally accidentally startled the two boys. Jason then ordered everyone to enter the edifice, and then brought his guards in with him. The place was all gloomy from the inside. There was dust, cobwebs, withered flowers, and rats everywhere. Rodent Girl didn't mind. She made new friends. Sally looked around for a while. There were some painted portraits of the Wise Wizard and Silver Knight, either holding hands or hugging. Benson stayed close to Diana as possible, in case anything decides to jump at him. The building looked haunted from his point of view. Jason commanded the squad to stop sightseeing and said they should stay on task. The king then led them to a staircase. There were so many flight of stairs, they couldn't see the top. Rodent Girl just scurried up ahead. She was particularly fast.
"THIS ISN'T A RACE, VERMIN!" Jason screamed his lungs out. "Do this wizard and knight fella live like this everyday?" Nick sassed.
Later, the squad had been climbing up the stairs for about an hour. Even Diana herself was hitting exhaustion. Jason was being lifted up the stairs by his two faithful sentries, who are now in great pain due to how much he weighs. Richard was glad he didn't have to take part this time. Sally hitched a ride on Diana. Nick supportively carried Jimmy on his shoulders.
"I can walk on my own, Nick. No need for this." Said Jimmy. "No... You have... ...the shortest legs... I won't let that happen." Nick breathed.
As soon as the squad made it to the top floor, everybody, who'd been walking, laid flat on the floor, taking a break to rest for a moment. However, Jason wouldn't let them. Both Jimmy and Sally helped Nick back onto his feet. HIIIIIIIII! They heard Rodent Girl's voice. She was waving at them. The squad, seeing her, all groaned in annoyance. Not because she made it before them. Rodent Girl was waving at them, from the other side of a bridge, dangling over a black pit that led to who knows where.
"This is suppose to be their security system?" Nick groaned. "No, I think it's yours." Replied Sally. "Can you stop talking for 10 minutes? Please?" "Okay, everyone! Ladies! Gentlemen! Listen! This faulty bridge can only contrive enough density to hold together. It'll be safe if we all walked across one at a time!" Jimmy explained.
The squad agreed to Jimmy's notion. Jason made the children cross the bridge first, since they were the lightest. Jimmy went first, then Nick, Sally, Benson, Richard, guard #1, guard #2, Jason, Diana, now it's Butterscotch's turn. Diana was giving him emotional support from the other side. Nick promised he'd cooked something for him. Rodent Girl started motivating him like a gym coach, in order to get him to "horse-up." Jason then insulted Butterscotch, calling him a "filthy animal." That made the stallion mad enough to gallop across the bridge. His stomping hooves, combined with his rage, applied too much pressure.
"BUTTERSCOTCH! NOOOO! THE BRIDGE WILL-"
Jimmy tried to warn the horse, but it was too late.
"BUTTERSCOTCH!!!" Diana cried, trying to get to him.
The bridge broke, and then Butterscotch met with a falling fate. She dropped to her knees, with tears cascading from her eyes. Her friends immediately showered her with comfort, but Jason and his authorities were getting impatient.
"LET'S GO! We're way behind schedule!" Barked Jason. "Can you be anymore INSENSITIVE?! We've just lost a trustful steed!" Diana replied. "It's just a horse! You can just get a new one!" "Just a horse?! Mister, Butterscotch was family! You can not replace family, or a scrapbook full of memories!" "You can, if you were living the majestic life like me!" "That's it! I've darn had it with this skin flint ficklepuss!"
Diana was about to charge Jason with her fist, but her friends, including Richard, had to restrain her. The two guards pointed their spears.
"A BUNCH OF POINTY STICKS WON'T SAVE YOUR HIDE FROM ME! YOU'LL BE ALL OVER THIS PLACE BY THE TIME I'M DONE TEARING YOU LIMB FROM LIMB! HANGING OR NOT, DEATH WOULD BE BETTER THAN SHARING THE SAME PLANET WITH YOU!" Diana raged. "Diana! It's not worth it. You don't wanna prove you're just as bad as him. C'mon, we're almost there." Said Jimmy, trying to calm Diana. "But, Butterscotch! IF NOT FOR HIM, HE'D STILL BE HERE!" "I liked Butterscotch just as you did. He was the second best four legged friend I've ever made. When this is all over, I promise there will be a funeral arranged, in honor of a brave, fun horse." "Yeah, and we can invite everyone in the village! Horses, too! I'll even cook up a collection of his favorite foods! Anything for Butterscotch's good name!" Nick added.
Diana took a couple of deep breaths.
"Okay. I'll keep my cool. Butterscotch was a pacifist anyways, so he wouldn't like seeing me kill a man." Said Diana, with pride. "Maybe when your amnesia is cured, you could probably bring him back." Sally whispered to Jimmy.
The squad then entered the next room, which appeared to have light. It was an empty library, and the room was lit from the sun shining through a strained glass window, also providing some color. All the books had been packed, and the shelves were left empty. A big vault door sat in the center of the room. A door King Jason tried to open for years. When Diana turned the handle, it didn’t budge, not even from her strength. She tried harder, but only succeeded in tearing it off. The door can only open from a password. Jimmy found writing was increst on it. A hint, maybe?
A special profound charm, in no need of a spell, that unites us together. It makes the world go around. This emotion is the strongest fuel of human power.
"Go on!" Jason commanded. "What?" Jimmy blurted in confusion. "Feed it the password! You still remember it, right?”
Jimmy hesitated, while sweating. Nick placed an arm around him, giving the boy genius a pat. If Jimmy doesn't know the password, then they're sure to expose themselves as frauds. Jimmy decided to do what he hasn't done in a long time.
"Think... Think... Think..."
Based on the info he learned from Joseph's logs: The Wise Wizard, although happy with his formal life, was extremely lonely. The Silver Knight, a well known celebrity at that time, was one of the most miserable men in the village. Ever since they met, they found themselves to have comfort in one's company. They were both powerful in their own ways, but they also had flaws that the two acknowledged with one another. The knight would put his life against his wizard, and the wizard would do the same. They cared for each other very much, for it was fate that united them. The pair has made themselves one. The Wise Wizard and Silver Knight cared for each other romantically. Joseph cared for them like fathers. Diana cares for the Faithful Five as family. Jimmy and Nick cares for Diana, Rodent Girl, Benson, and Butterscotch like they were best friends. Jimmy cares for Nick from the pumping feeling in his h-
"BRAIN BLAST!" Shouted Jimmy. "Is that the password?!" Asked Jason. "No! But I figured it out!"
Jimmy cleared his throat before saying
"L-O-V-E! Love!"
A few seconds later, a golden light started illuminating from the gaps of the vault door. Everyone stepped back as the door slowly opened on its own. The glow eventually stopped, and the object was revealed. There was the amulet, sitting on a display. It was a beautiful golden chain necklace, with a heart shaped ruby in the center. It looked nothing like the one presented in King Jason's drawing. It was better than imagined. Shedding tears of joy, Jason grabbed the amulet for keeps, then placed it around his neck. Other than the amulet, there was also a piece of paper lying around. While the king modeled around with his new jewelry, Jimmy and Nick read the paper together. It was a log, written by the Wise Wizard himself!
Before the Wise Wizard and Silver Knight were ready to leave the village and travel the world, they presented King Todd with the Amulet of Bind, something they made together. Todd's 14 year-old son, Jason, seemed to have found interest in the jewel. The two had told the king that their love was extracted into the amulet, which possessed a far greater power known to man. It is to be used for an emergency only, in case the whole village gets caught under carnage. They also noted that the amulet must not fall into the hands of evil. If it does so, then the amulet must be touched by a pairing of two, who hold a strong built-up bond. It is their love that will drain the evil of its magic. The two then whispered the password to the king, for Todd could be trusted. However, they never thought about his power hungry son.
"Pffffffft. Magic." Jimmy joked. "Yeah. An amulet that stores powers made by love." Nick joked back. "It's absolutely ridiculous."
Just then, Jason pointed his finger at the two boys, and conjured up a chain, linking them together. A cage appeared around Sally. Diana was about to strike, but the king used a stun spell on her. Rodent Girl scurried over to Jason, ready to bite. With the magic point of a finger, Rodent Girl's leg was suddenly shackled, attached to this heavy ball. Also, her mouth was muzzled up. He didn't have to do anything with Benson. The man just got petrified with fear.
"What the heck is this?!" Questioned Jimmy. "It's magic, you bafoon." Replied Jason. "Not that! Is this suppose to be the other end of our deal?!" "Young man, when will you ever learn that there are certain people you're not suppose to trust? You should know that people like me don't change their heart overnight! It seems to me you don't really know me at all!"
Jimmy looked at the friends he got in danger, also he thought about the one horse they just lost. The boy genius was so up in his pride, he didn't bother with the facts. His friends tried to warn him about this man. The red flags were right there. All he thought about was outsmarting the king into having a heart with his psychology. Jimmy needs to learn that it's his friends he should listen to.
"You know what's so precious about magic, Richard?" "Uhhhhhhh, it can give you anything you desire by just a slight gesture of the hands, sire?" "Correct! You get a raise!"
The king snapped his fingers and a bag of money appeared in the chancellor's hands.
"Wow! Bless you, sire!" "Don't mention it. Magic could make me a whole new man! For instance, I could change my shape into something I've always dreamed of!"
The king turned his tubby figure into a more muscular shape.
"It can also enhance my senses! *Sniffs the air* Let's see, *Points at guard #2* you had a tuna hero for lunch!" Said Jason. "By George, he's got it!" Spoke guard #2. "And, uh... *Sniffs again* Hold on."
There's something about the way the "Wise Wizard" and "Silver Knight" smelled that puzzled the king.
"You're not the noble Wise Wizard and Silver Knight, aren't you?" The king asked in an ominous tone. "What makes you ask that? We are wearing the clothes, and my partner here did figure out the password!" Said Nick. "Silence! If you were the legendary heroes, you'd have their scent! I've been there, and you two smell nothing like how I remembered them! As a matter of fact, I think I smell a little fear in you."
Jason lifted up Nick's visor, so he could look at both of their faces of shame. He glared at the boys with red eyes.
"You two are just a pair of pathetic, scared, commoner children. And to think I let you go, trespassing in my domain, posing as fake authorities! If I knew, I would've had your skinny necks hanged by then. But good news: It's your lucky day today! Since you've led me to the power that's rightfully mine, I'll give you a whole day to live before I ready the gallows. Your friends can join you, like a big happy family! Now's the best time to use that dungeon." "Your greatness?" Asked guard #1. "What?" "How are we going to get them out of here? The bridge is done for, and there's no way I'm carrying her down the stairs. *Points to Diana*" "Have you fools learned nothing on what magic can do?"
King Jason then teleported everyone out of the library.

summary: the year is 1974. You’re the personal assistant of Paul and Linda McCartney. One spring day you meet the rather infamous John Lennon during the middle of his ‘Lost Weekend’ escapades. Spark fly and secrets unfold between the two of you.

Your first meeting with the McCartney couple was in the summer of ‘71.
It had been a warm, sweltering, London summer, spent inside the offices of Abbey Road Studios. You were the intern of executive producer Robert Hardwell. A large sneering man, always ready to patronise you at every move.
The internship wasn’t more than being an assistant and secretary to his every demand. But you were good at what you did. And knew that even though his insults stung, you weren’t about to leave; it was Abbey Road.
It had been the dream of yours to work there ever since you were very little. And now you were there! In the flesh! You had worked your skin to the bones to get this far and you weren’t about to throw it away because of that man.
It was a Thursday at the end of July when you were called in the office of Mr Hardwell. The clothes you wore to work, neat and professional, felt restricting in the heat. The air conditioning in the lobby having been broken for days by now with no turn up from the called repairmen.
You quickly took a sip of water before getting up from your work desk and knocked before entering his chill office.
“Yes, sir?”
He barely glanced up from the paperwork on his desk.
“You need to run down to Studio Three and check something for me. They seem to be having technical issues and I need the details promptly.”
“Right,” you nodded and stepped back out of the office.
You quickly made your way down to the studio. It didn’t take long. While you had worked there for not even half a year yet; you had become familiar with the layout of the large building pretty quickly. You stopped in front of the door to the control room.
From the other side, you could hear loud chatter and the taint banging on drums. You tried to recall who was using the studio but ultimately failed in the endeavour; it was not part of your duties to know anyhow.
You readied yourself before knocking on the wooden door and headed inside.
“Hello?” You said as you carefully stepped inside.
In the control room, there was three men and a woman. The men had their backs to you but the woman looked at you as you entered the room.
You immediately recognised her. It was Linda McCartney! And so you assumed the dark haired man near her, who was leaned over a control table, must be Paul; as you recognised the other two men who were now also looking at you.
You recognised them from the cafeteria and felt a dread creep in at the sight at one of them. A malnourished looking man with greased hair; a man who had on several occasions thrown inappropriate comments at you. His coworker was nice but completely clueless.
Your heart raced. You were never any good with crowds. And this wasn’t just any crowd. It included an ex-Beatle and his wife! Now you weren’t completely awestruck, having been nothing more but a casual fan during the mania, but was still feeling stunned in their presence.
Someone coughed and brought you back to reality. “Hi… I’m [full name], Mr Hardwell’s assistant. He sent me here to get him the… specifics of your technical difficulties.”
“Right,” Linda nodded and looked to Paul, who you now realised had been looking at you before glancing to his wife. Inside the studio, the drumming had stopped and you glanced through the window. Two men stood there. One behind the drumset, and one with a guitar in hand. The guitarist looked familiar but you couldn’t quite figure out why. Maybe another band?
“We’re, uh, not quite sure actually,” Paul spoke and you quickly looked to him, the beating of your heart picking up the pace again. He scratched the side of his nose looking like he was deep in thought, “we were just recording in the vocal booth when the power went out. But only in that room.” Linda nodded along to what he said.
That sounded familiar you thought, “oh!” You suddenly erupted as the answer came to you. The greasy haired man blinked in surprise. “We’ve had that problem before,” you grinned, enlivened, and stepped to the control board.
“We had the same problem last year when Cliff Richards was here to record Tracks ‘n Grooves, y’know. The power just went off and people ran around frantically for hours almost before we figured out it was because someone had turned on this,” you pointed to a small button, “which interferes with this,” you pointed to another similar one.
“They’re not supposed to be on at the same time which some people,” you glanced at your coworkers, “should know.”
You pulled back from the desk feeling proud. At being able to help them but also, that you had remembered that. It was well over a year ago, and you had been out drinking with a friend afterwards which resulted in a pretty tough morning after.
Paul flicked the switch to off and immediately you all saw the lights return in the vocal booth. You nodded with your hands on your hips, “yeah, it’s a strange technical hitch. I don’t know why they haven’t managed to fix it yet but, it’s not my field of expertise anyhow.”
Paul hmm’d and looked to you. “I’ve recorded here before and haven’t experienced it before.”
You smiled politely, “then you had some good technicians on your team,” and did your best not to cast a pointing glance at the Greasy Haired Man, which you had decided to nickname him as you didn’t actually know his name.
“Well, I best be off,” you left before anything else could be said and your excitement could get to you. Besides you had work to do. Work that actually fell under your jurisdiction. Technical mishaps didn’t.
You quickly reported back to Hardwell and got back to your work, but never getting your brief encounter with the McCartney’s out of your mind.
The next day, you came into the office drenched. That morning it had promised nothing but clear skies and sunny smiles but it hadn’t been long after you had left your apartment when rain erupted from the heavens above, almost like it was punishing you for your hubris in not bringing an umbrella.
You shook as you ran inside the studio building, cursing under your breath. The rainwater was warm and the office was humid from the still continuing lack of air conditioning. All pointed to a rather bad day.
You quickly placed your bag at your desk before running to the nearest bathroom to try and dry off your hair and whatever the best you could with your clothes. Your coat had taken most of the water but it still hadn’t been enough.
You couldn’t afford to spend much time during that as time neared the start of your workday and you reconciled with the best you could do in that time frame must be enough and went back to your desk.
The day passed quickly by without anything else noteworthy happening except for the poor start of the day.
It wasn’t before when you were just about to leave when a letter courier entered the room that you took a paused from packing your bag. You stopped, hand still in the purse, and stared blankly at the man.
He saw you and came to stand in front of the desk, “You Ms [full name]?”
You carefully nodded a ‘yes’ and was handed an envelope. As he left, you carefully studied the text on it. Your name and office address were written in neat cursive. You turned it over and it had nothing but ‘The McCartney’s’ written on the back.
It took you back and you went completely still. Why would they send you a letter? Why would they even contact you? And if they did, why do it this way when you didn’t even work that far from the studio they currently used?
Your hand shook as you opened up the envelope and pulled out the letter. Its paper was crisp and a soft beige. The neat handwriting before was repeated in the content of the letter.
It didn’t say much. They invited you to come eat dinner with them the next day at a vegetarian restaurant you were unfamiliar with in Covent Garden. It stated time and exact location of the restaurant and that it would be paid for by them. It was written that it would not be taken in ill health if you were not to show up.
And, well, how could you refuse that? It was the McCartneys and, more importantly, free food. You had this weekend off so it aligned well enough. You rushed out the door, excited for the day to come.
The weather wasn’t much of an improvement from the day before. But this time you had at least been prepared in equipping yourself with an umbrella and a smart raincoat. You soon stopped outside of the restaurant and looked in, trying to see if you could spot them.
A silly attempt really, not much was to be seen other than plants and other visitors. Your nerves were high and were only to be mixed with excitement as you headed inside.
“Welcome! Table for one?” you were immediately greeted by the maître d’ and quickly shook your head.
“I’m meeting someone here. McCartney?”
“Oh! They told me to expect you. Come right this way,” she smiled and guided you through the fancy restaurant. It was warm. A comfortable warmth. And there was a lovely smell hanging in the air of something you couldn’t quite place.
The hostess stopped in front of a table and you stepped around the see the McCartney’s sitting side by side behind the table, Linda’s hand locked with Paul’s on the table. An empty chair stood on the other side of them; placed so you would be facing the middle of them.
You muttered your thanks to the hostess as you sat down and looked to the couple feeling anxious.
“H-Hi,” you managed to say and smiled, grimacing slightly at your own stutter. They glanced shortly at each other before looking at you, almost eerie in their synchronization.
They smiled kindly and it helped calm you down. The light behind the crowning their heads; making Linda’s look more golden and Paul’s a clearer brown.
“Hi,” Linda greeted and reached her free hand across the table. You shook hands, hers a wonderful warm against your cold one. Paul greeted you equally pleasantly, with a smile that made you feel shy.
Menus were handed out and you quickly ordered your choice of drink. You ordered a simple diet coke while they ordered some fancy wine you hadn’t heard of before.
“We…” Paul glanced to his wife, “just wanted to thank you for what you did yesterday. You ran out so quickly we didn’t manage to at the time.”
You laughed, “right, I did do that, didn’t I?”
They smiled and Linda leaned slightly forward, “and there’s something else.”
Paul continued, “we’ve been in need of… personal assistance lately and, well, we had a look at your resume and thought that you were pretty much perfect for the role.”
You blinked. They had looked at your resume? Had they really been impressed that much by the simple flick of a switch?
“I… am?” You stuttered. There was a pause before they answered as the drinks arrived. It was Linda who answered, “you are more than qualified. And the pay will be better, if that’s a cause for concern.”
It was time to order the food and while the couple was busy with that you wondered; was it something you were interested in? Working for the McCartney’s rather than Mr Hardwell in Abbey Road?
It wasn’t a terrible thought. While Abbey Road Studios were something you had always dreamed of being, it hadn’t turned out to be quite what you looking for. Working for the couple would also most likely open more doors than Hardwell ever could.
You nodded to yourself and ordered. It was a vegetarian chili con carne and frankly hadn’t sounded too bad.
“We understand if it’s something you need time to think about,” Linda continued from before.
You shook your head, “No need. I’ve already decided.”
They silently looked at each other, anticipating your answer. You grinned.
“I accept.”
It was a year, three months and nine days after you started working for the McCartney’s (you did the math) that something happened that would change your life and your relationship with the people in it forever.
It was a late Friday evening and the three of you had been drinking quite heavily. The kids had gone to their grandparents for the weekend, allowing the young couple to rest.
Through the year (and three months) you had become quite good friends and it almost felt like your working for them but rather helping out your friends.
You had been invited along for a fancy dinner and then drinks in their London apartment. After a short while you all had gotten drunk; enough for the next morning to be painful but not completely hellish. Enough to be aware of your actions and to remember them the next day too.
It was an hour into that that the conversation took a turn. Paul looked serious, the best one could look while drunk, and rested his hand on your knee while Linda lightly massaged his shoulders.
“We have…. something to ask of you,” he started and you glanced up from having looked at his hand on your knee, “it’s something we’ve thought… much about.”
You nodded, the force of moving it shook the rest of your body too and you tried not to spill your drink.
“We’ll really, really, enjoy it if you would, y’know, join us in… bed some time. Tonight?” He looked to Linda who lightly nodded and continued messaging his shoulders, though in slower motions than it had been before.
You gaped at them both, unsure of you had heard right.
Linda moved and placed her hand atop of her husbands, the one still rested on your knee. “You can say no and nothing will change from how we were at the start of the day,” she reassured.
“Oh… uh,” you looked back and forth between the hands on your knee and the bright eyes looking at you. Your heart beat harshly in your chest; feeling like it would break free of the confinements of your ribs at any moment.
You swallowed deeply, “I… don’t quite know what to say… I won’t lie and say that it’s nothing I haven’t thought about before.”
They were both gorgeous people and you were only human. A human spending every day of the week around them. Feelings were abounded to flutter about in your young hopeless mind.
Deeply you knew what to say, the answer was clear but in your wine riddled mind, it all just seemed… more than it was. That this was the end-all and be-all. Despite what Linda had said.
And perhaps more thought was needed on the subject before an answer is given but that passing thought was quickly ignored as you answered with a flustered nod and took a chance with, “I’d love to.”
You had never seen a bigger grin on Paul as you did now as he looked at you and then as his wife. She was more subdued in showing her elation but it was clear that it was there.
They both stood up. You remained seated, suddenly feeling heavy and locked in place. They seemed to understand. Linda took the wine glass out of your hand as Paul took the other hand into his own and gently helped you up.
Linda caressed your arm as you were guided to the bedroom. The ease they seemed to go about it helped to relax you as the three of you reached the room.
You reached the bed and Paul disappeared out of your peripheral view. You turned around to look for him but was suddenly pushed unto the bed by Linda. It was a light shove, ending with you giggling on your back on the bed.
The bed moved on both sides, indenting down as the couple sat on either side of you. They seemed less sure of themselves as they had otherwise been so far. Maybe they hadn’t planned this far? Maybe they hadn’t planned for you to share their affections?
You blinked in the brief pause there was as they stared at each other, silently communicating. It wasn’t long before Paul leaned over you with a dark look in his eyes. His breath tickled your skin and smelled of brandy.
And then he kissed you. You heart stilled for a beat before picking up its usual routine of trying to burst out of your chest.
The kiss started out soft but slowly turned more and more into something… hungry. One of his hands were rested beside your hip. The other caressing your cheek.
You had all but near forgotten about the third person in the room before you felt the buttons of your shirt getting undone.
You shivered and gasped into the kiss as a cold hand danced across your bare skin leading up to your bra. It tickled and you giggled slightly into the kiss.
Paul took it as an invite to lick your lips and let his tongue into the warmth of your mouth.
Linda caressed your sides as her husband busied you with his mouth upon yours. But it soon had to stop as the lack of air became evident.
Your face was warm and flushed as you breathed in the fresh air. It had been so long, too long, since you last had had such a good snog and your body was vibrating with excitement for more.
You started to lean up towards Paul but was quickly pushed back with a ‘tsk’ from the smirking man. You frowned and he said, “let’s get you undressed first, yeah?”
You slowly nodded and sat up, guided by Linda who still had her soft hands on your waist. You looked at her and she was completely naked, save from pants. You glanced at her breasts and felt yourself get warmer than you already were.
She smiled softly at you and unhooked your brassiere while her husband was fast at work on the buttons of your trousers.

Your breath hitched as he back on the bed and made his way towards you. He paused as his shoulders met your knees and you silently watched as he looked to his wife who nodded.
When he looked back up at you; you finally understood what had caused the pause. You nodded silent consent and he smirked.

Okay, time to prattle about “Doctor Who” for a bit.
I started watching in 2005 with my husband, because he was a longtime fan and was super-excited for the reboot. I enjoyed it a lot, enough to become a fierce shipper of Ten and Rose and a strong supporter of Russell T. Davies. I also started watching “Torchwood” and liked it a lot overall.
When both Davies and David Tennant left, I wasn’t sure about the show anymore. Steven Moffat was not my favorite “Who” writer and I thought they’d missed an opportunity not casting an actor of color in the role. “The Eleventh Hour” was a good romp, however, and enough to keep me going for a while.
But again, my favorite episodes were ones written by other people than Steven Moffat: Toby Whithouse, Richard Curtis, Neil Gaiman. And while I tended to enjoy the slowly-unfolding season-long storyarcs, I got tired pretty quickly of Moffat’s concentration on super-intricate plots over character development and interaction. And about halfway through Smith’s second season, I had an epiphany and just stopped watching. I tried again with the Christmas special involving Clara, but that quickly became another puzzle-box-instead-of-character situation and I dropped it again.
When Chris Chibnall was hired, I sat up and paid attention. I liked what he did on “Torchwood”. I liked “Broadchurch”. And then he cast Jodie Whittaker and I was absolutely going to try it again.
Spoilers for Episode 1 under the cut:
I loved “The Woman Who Fell to Earth”. I loved meeting Ryan first and getting to know him, then his gran and step-grandpa. I loved the introduction of Yaz with her Rose-like outlook of wanting to do more with herself. And then the Doctor came crashing into a crisis and the very first thing she did, no hesitation, was to grab a live cable and electrocute the alien thing.
One of the things that worked for me so well, that felt a bit “Torchwood”, is Chibnall’s ability to handle multiple characters/personalities and their dialogue in a scene without losing sight of anyone unless he wants you to “forget” them for a bit. So many scenes were full of 4, 5, 6 characters and yet it never felt crowded, conversations never felt clunky.
And again, I want to know more about these characters. I want to see Yaz stretch her wings and find a path she can forge for herself without having to fight through a system or plodding superiors. I want to see Ryan gain confidence and not let his condition define limits for him. I want to see Graham find a new place for himself both as a cancer survivor and a widower.
Which is the one sour note for me, that Grace (an older woman of color) ended up being the redshirt of the episode. I knew an exit for the character was almost certainly coming, since the actress was not part of the media blitz, and that tainted my viewing a bit. While I am glad that she died in an active way, actually fighting the alien threat and not just getting killed because wrong-place-wrong-time, I don’t like that she had to die at all. She was too full of life and determination and I think her being part of the new “fam” would have been a good balance to Graham and Ryan’s fears. However, I’m not going to yell “fridging” yet because the actress is listed as “recurring” this season and could possibly come back in a timey-wimey way that isn’t limited to flashbacks.
The villain also had a “Torchwood” sort of feel to him, especially the hilarious scene with the drunk guy...before it turned into not hilarious. He was kind of one-note, but this was a regeneration/new Doctor and companions episode and the villain was always going to be a supporting note. I did love the “Tim Shaw” running gag and how the Doctor called him out for being a cheat (I will happily take the allusion to a certain orange cheeto).
Which brings me to Jodie Whittaker. She IS the Doctor. The brain running a hundred miles faster than anyone else. The fearless reliance on improvisation because it keeps working. The un-selfconscious embracing of herself and those around her. The only thing I might point to that is feeling more Jodie/Thirteen is the empathy being right there on the surface, not something that the companion has to prod for. She tells the others a little about herself and her losses. She is there for the funeral - I’ve seen the Doctor hang around for the occasional celebration but at the moment can’t remember them staying for the fallout when things went south. And Jodie carried it all off beautifully.
I think I’m back for the long haul. And I encourage anyone else who might be curious to try it out, even if you’ve never watched before. You don’t need a lot of context to enjoy this.

The computer screen stings your eyes as you decided that it was time to step away. You needed to find the supposed Green Lantern for the team, but it has finally reached 2 o’clock even though Bruce told you stop four hours ago. You’ve lived with the League for a while now so you knew how to sneak past all the security at Bruce’s house (since he did own and pay for this house after all). You turn the corner and see Diana getting some water in the kitchen. She turns around and sees you   trying to sneak away from her. She grabs your shoulders and quickly puts her hand against your mouth so you don’t yell and wake up the boys. She turns you around and looks at you with soft eyes.
“You shouldn’t be out this late, Diana.” You could still feel her sinewy arms around you as the proximity between you guys was much closer than before.
“I could say the same, love.” Your face fills with red as her hands start to grasp the muscles on your back.
“You are just so tense my love. Honestly you deserve a nice message.” Her eyes are dark as the moon shines over her face.
“Oh no it’s fine Diana, really.”

Bruce has invited the whole league to his gala this evening. He even brought you an expensive dress which probably costs more than your life. The red velvet covered the top half but still dipped low among your breast and it flowed behind you, but it had a giant slit on your right leg which meant it practically flocked the tattoo on your leg. This meant you also had to shave your ass off and Bruce also brought a hairdresser over to help you with clearly your hair, but also makeup. You had to practice how to walk in heels for five minutes which wasn’t much, but good enough you guess.
You were popping as the dress brought out your curves and the heels heightened you up to be almost as tall as Diana.
Almost.
You elegantly walked out last from Bruce’s house since you kept tripping on your heels. You finally got a hang of it and once you took a step outside you were baffled at Diana looking like the goddess she was in front of you in a black slim dress and heels that weren’t that tall which was good cause you weren’t willing to talk to a skyscraper. When your reached the limo you noticed that there weren’t enough seats. That cheapskate Batman literally couldn’t get you guys a big enough vehicle, but could buy the biggest building for his gala. What kind of fvckery! How the hell were you guys going to fit now?
“(Y/N), you can sit on my lap.” You look over to see Barry raise his hand and smile towards you, but Diana quickly interrupts him and pulls you down on her lap.
“No! (Y/N) will stay with me instead.” You blush profusely and wiggle your hips to settle down on her lap. Her hot breathe hits your neck as your breathing starts to settle down. her hands grab your hips to stop you from moving. Her arms snake around your waist and hold you closer together as the whole team squished themselves into the tiny limo.
Butterflies flew between every touch Diana made with you, but the moment now had you bursting in fireworks of joy. The embrace filled up every corner of your body full of love. This moment now was good as you stayed wrapped up with Diana while the boys make stupid jokes. Her lips just barley graze over your skin as you melt with her. She gently kisses your neck leaving a huge lipstick stain of her lips to show others your were ‘taken’. You thought maybe a bump resulted in her accidentally kissing your neck so you merely saw it as an innocent act.
Once the limo reached the gala, everyone pushed themselves out of that tiny thing and quietly walked inside.
Lights hit the ceiling as gold painted the walls. You separate from the others and reach towards the drinks. The the alcohol burned your throat, but tasted rich and good either way. Arthur walked besides you and pointed out the mark on your neck.
“Well I see someone has been getting it on tonight.” Rather grins towards you and point to something behind your neck.
You pull out a mirror and looked at the giant kiss placed in a very obvious place. A blush taints your whole face as Arthur laughs loudly among the people.
Then you felt someone tap your shoulder. You turn around to face a man with a face of some playboy. Rich and wanted (for his money) was what everyone saw in him, but he seemed more like a fvckboy to you. He makes small talk that didn’t really interest you much.
“And I was like you can’t buy the expensive champagne looking like that!…” You stared at her across the room as desperation filled your eyes. Oh how you wanted to hold her in your arms and snuggle against her warm chest since you were shorter than her.
Diana stares at you across the room with small, but obvious glances your direction. Oh how she wanted to wrap her arms around your small figure and pepper your face with kisses.
“Excuse me.” Diana stops talking to the man in front of her and walks your way. Oh look up to see her coming your way as you admire how elegantly she walks and how she catches every eye in the room as they stare in want. Diana wraps her arm around your wast and pulls you into her as the man in front of you stutters at the sight of Diana next to you.
“Hello (Y/N).” She whispers close to your ear earning quite a shiver from your body.
“U-um hey Diana.” You look up at her to see her smirk towards you. You pleadingly stare at her, giving her the ‘save me’ look.
“Sorry, but this is my girlfriend and I would like to dance with her.” The man you think goes by the name of Richard ??? stares baffled between you guys. That same looks was seen on your face, but your were blessed for Diana’s help. Diana pulls you to the dance floor, pulling you into her body.
“Follow my steps.” Diana knew how to dance, but you were a whole mess. Either way you followed her and picked it up fast. You look up at her brown enough eyes with admiration, but soon enough you just couldn’t keep your eyes away from her plump lips. She smiles towards you and leans into your own lips. A kiss fills in the piece missing from the whole night. How every urge in your body grasp out to Diana. Your hands stroke her face as red lipstick stains your own lips. She pulls away and you do the same since you both needed air.
“I’ve wanted to do that since I first met you.” You blush and look down at your feet.
“S-same.” She lifts your chin up and claims your lips once more as you both dance through the night.

Boy! you just opened a can of worms by those two questions! don't expect me to write a simple answer if you asked anything about Lady Robsart.
i remember when i first googled her,i saw some letters Amy wrote two weeks before her, a letter to her tailor and to a dear friend, i was very intrigued because the letters shows that Amy still living her life to the fullest and was never planning to die anytime soon, her maids said she was very melancholy and depressed (Amy's maid hear her 'praie to god to deliver her from Disperaconne'), but still, that didn't mean that she had a suicide plan or something...

That's her letter to her London tailor on 24 August 1560.
The most widely accepted contemporary explanation for her death is breast cancer and suicide, but i don't think so...
Since you asked, i'll tell you why i love her and so interested in her, there are a numerous of moments together made me love her, first, her meeting with Robert Dudley at the Stanfield Hall in her mom's house which is near Wyndham (Robbie was out with his dad and his bro to Norfolk, to suppress the rebellion of the peasant army of Robert Kett), Amy knew the young and handsome Robbie before but they had never spoken to each other (sometimes the eyes speak lol), but in this visit, the seventeen year-old teenagers had spoken to each other and her feelings for her future Robbie were born, isn't that very cute?!?

Their best and happy days began when Edward VI became the King, Robbie's dad organized  marriages of several of his sons, including Amy and Robbie's wedding in 1550, which happened after Robbie's brother (John Dudley, the eldest brother) wedding, they married at the royal palace of Sheen at Richmond near London. it was three days before my little Amy's 18th birthday (Amy was not eighteen yet but neither Robbie). the wedding took place about ten months after their very cute meeting in the Stanfield Hall, and of course the lazy people were so tired before the wedding (since they already attended John's wedding), but it was said that the wedding was a grand occasion, and Bess Tudor and King Edward VI were there, and Edward VI enjoyed the wedding, writing in his diary:
"S. Robert dudely, third sonne to th erle of warwic married S. Jon Robsartes daughter after wich marriage ther were certain Gentlemen that did strive to who shuld first take away a goses heade wich was hanged alive on tow crose postes, ther was tilting and tourney on foot on the 5th, and on the 6th he removed Greenwich."
Robbie hoped for a big happy family like what his parents had, but i think he and Amy didn't had the time to try for children since Robert is an ambitious Dudley (he began to play the role of Norfolk gentleman in terms as JP and in 1551 as MP).
i would say Amy's life was thrown into Chaos when Lady Jane Grey was overthrown and the accession of Edward VI's half-sister Mary I, she deprived Amy from her home (That CHILDLESS OLD HAG! she has also imprisoned Bess), the poor and yet strong Amy stayed at her grandfather's (John Scott, her mother's father) house at Cumberwell, that's where she's very close to her imprisoned husband, in Cumberwell, she would quickly learn the news about the fate of her husband and from here could quickly go to him (my Amy is a very devoted and loving wife).
With the accession of Elizabeth I, for Robbie, everything has changed, and Amy and Robbie were in big favor with the queen, Robert was promoted to the royal stable and began to stay almost always at court, only occasionally sending Amy gifts and refunding part of the cost of renewing her wardrobe, then, the people at court noticed that Bess does not want to let go of Robert herself for a minute, and if she has to let him go, then this is done with great reluctance, Robert was now absent at Court for long periods.
Amy lived for two years in Essex in the province with friends and almost never saw her husband. Bess Dismissed her from the court life, but it wasn't personal, Amy was not the only wife of a courtier Bess has dismissed, Bess has discouraged many of her male courtiers from bringing their Spouses, possibly to avoid overcrowding...or just she didn't want the competition, Rumors of The Queen is in love with Robert had reached Amy, but it was said that she had never gave attention to them and never treated them (i think she was very sad but she didn't want to show it, as noted by her maids), but still, Amy and Robert tried their best to work their marriage, in the easter of 1559, Robert spent a couple of days with his wife; In April Amy was present in London at the ceremony of dedicating her husband to the knights Order of the Garter and stayed in the capital for about a month, and in the summer of the same year, Amy made a trip to Suffolk , and in September, she stopped for a few months in the house of Sir Richard Verney in Warwickshire.
Since December 1559, while Amy was staying in Cumnor Place near Abingdon in Oxfordshire, the house was rented by one of Robbie's friend and a relative of Amy, Sir Anthony Forster, there were many people living at the house, including Forster's wife and two women, Mrs. Odingsells and Mrs. Owens, They say Amy longed for and thought of Robbie more than ever.

of course you heard about Amy sending her Servants away and her argue with Mrs. Odingsells, On that day, a fair was taking place in Abington, and Amy advised the servants to go there,but Mrs. Odinggells declined. Presumably, Amy herself was going to go to the fair, but Mrs. Odinggells told her that "the Sunday Fair is not the place to go to a noble woman." After hearing the arguments of Mrs. Odinggells, Amy was furious, and when asked who would be her company at dinner, she said that it would be Mrs. Owen, now that's the part where Amy caught my attention, i became very intrigued, personally, i think Amy wanted to be alone (since the house was very big, luxurious and full of people), so she can have some peace and tranquility.
I think Amy got up from the wrong side of the bed (and very early), and surely, wanted to eat or drink something, forgetting that she had sent her servants away to the Fair, then she tripped and fell, her neck was broken, The scientific evidence shows she had two small dents, and some small holes in her skull (which caused by trauma) but not an assault of course, her bones were brittle and this contributing to her fall made her go over and her neck break easily...it's so impossible that Robert or William Cecil or The Queen would arrange her death.  
it was decided that her death was an accident, Her body was carried into Oxford, and Robbie ordered an expensice funeral and Amy was buried in the university church of St. Mary the Virgin in the High Street.

Framing Robert for her death was the worst thing I've ever heard so far, he had many enemies (including enemies from high positions) would love to frame him, the 16th century is the best century of gossips, Amy's friends and family stood with Robert and never doubted him, even when Robbie died in 1589, Amy's half-brother, Arthur Robsart, wrote a letter "my chief friend gone the Earl of Leicester". 
Don't you think she's interesting? her death will always be mysterious to us, but at least that's what i have tried to figure out.
at last, i was very intrigued and very touched by Amy Robsart, i'm saddened that her life ended so tragically, she was so young and "charming", i also fell in love with the tragic love story between her and Robert Dudley, the moment when they first met, and how the love between them has faded as time goes by, Amy and Robbie spent most of their youth in suffering, being penniless and how they depended on their parents who were providing for them...they're marriage were like chapters from a novel, first they were happy, and they're lives suddenly turned upside down, I just felt very passionately about them, TBH, one of the main reasons i created this blog because Amy character has been tainted, and she received many haters, mostly because of those stupid directors/Authors are making her a very sh**ty character, here's an example of a hater:

NOTE: Amy has been Portrayed in Books, Movies and Television very badly, there's not very much of Amy in the media anyway, There's only one project defined her very nice, i recommend you to watch 'The Virgin Queen (2006)'. the most close and accurate portrayal of Amy, played by the beautiful Emilia Fox (which quickly became my favorite actress), her acting really killed me. she is very Angelic here.

If we actually believe that The Final Problem is real
Then, we’ve got basically this:
We are in Eurus’s MP. Eurus is on a plane and everyone is asleep and she cannot land. A phone starts ringing and little Eurus takes the call. It is Moriarty, the man she’s put in under her mind control. “Welcome to the Final Problem”, little Eurus is scared shitless of that big bad man.
Sherlock decides to scare his brother too and Mycroft takes his trusty umbrella to defend himself. Even though Mycroft hates legwork, said umbrella was a prototype of the Kingsmen’s greatest weapon. Admire his multiple functionalities: from sword to gun, it can also protect you from the rain.
Eurus is an error defining genius, beyond Newton, Mycroft is very clever and nobody knows about Sherlock, most probably he was deemed stupid and a sociopath. Poor Eurus did it so well she broke the IQ tests and they never were quite the same (how they scientifically estimated how clever Newton was is anyone’s guess).
No wonder Mycroft managed to scare Sherlock with the tale of the East Wind, she is the perfect spook story.
Now, let’s have a minute of silence for Victor Trevor aka Redbeard aka drowned Redbeard. No matter how many times they begged Eurus to tell what happened to the boy, how she started calling him drowned Redbeard, nobody ever found out what happened to him. (Spoiler: he drowned).
Mycroft clearly has a favourite sibling:
Eurus when she was a child threw a kid over a well (but people thought she locked him up), and went to a mental institution; she is trapped in Sherrinford for the rest of her life because she’s too clever to be contained anywhere else; also she stays in this hell because England needs her talents;
Sherlock, a grown man is an addict who has used physical violence on Mycroft, has killed a man in cold blood in front of dozen of witnesses; he gets a suicide mission, then a complete pardon because he’s too clever to be contained anywhere else; also England needs his talents so he goes back home.
A wild DX 707 appears. It will without a doubt destroy the flat, we must make sure Mrs Hudson isn’t under the bomb because as it landed on the floor, it will most certainly shatter the floor (Spoiler: it didn’t. The floor is fine, the rug survived and is intact, thank god).
Anyway… back to Oscar Wilde. Even though they are seconds away from death, John reminds us The Importance of Being Earnest, let it not be said these men died stupid and hadn’t studied Wilde deeply. This is very important, it cannot wait.
Sherlock and John runs to the window, they fell from the first floor. Where a CIA agent fell through the same windows, an ambulance needed to be called because he has several broken bones and a suspected punctured lung.
Poof, and they’re fine! They don’t even have a scratch.
Mycroft meanwhile didn’t have much chance on his side. He’s not conscious, he’s severely injured, wait, nevermind. We find out later he also escaped and doesn’t have a scratch either. He must have closed the door and that’s how he survived the blast.
The men from the control room are multi-functional: not only do they control the security outside Sherrinford, they also dabble in neuroscience and checked the prison’s inhabitants’ IMR of their brain. What do you think, this is the crisis for everyone, the super sensible prison holding the most dangerous people in the world must have cut the budget for the infirmary, unless the guards are playing a video game on a screen, that works too.
Observe the level of security within Sherrinford: Sherlock gets to leave the room because he was wearing the beanie given with the uniform. And he got the uniform because, somehow, John Watson managed with his gun to tie up three Landers, who were all armed with rifles and it didn’t occur to them to defend themselves or they didn’t respect protocol. Breaking into the super-secure prison is easy: against the level of security, all you need is a little boat and a John Watson.
The problem with being able to see through everything is that you can’t even see if there anything to look through anymore.
Beware mind control, people talk to you and you’re into their control. Avoid discussion at all cost.
FLASHBACK: In a few minutes, James Moriarty will start his career as an actor, this is the great beginning of Richard Brooke, appreciate his efforts. Thankfully Mycroft’s Christmas present two years ago was a camera and she’s recording in under five minutes all his lines. Hopefully nobody will notice the glass between them.
Oh well, there’s always editing.
BACK TO THE PRESENT: Via some plot twist, Eurus is in the governor’s chair and the crew is in her cell. The glass is back, somehow and the governor will taint it with his blood soon.
Eurus is a great actor. Not only can she fake accents, she can also fools Sherlock and Mycroft Holmes into believing she’s a scared little girl on a plane. Eurus’ bargaining chip is herself.
Apparently, between two takes in five minutes, Eurus and Jim had a lovely moment about shitty siblings and most probably boys/girls while paining their nails.
Sherlock wants to talk to the girl on the plane, the terrified Eurus Holmes, Eurus mocks Sherlock and apparently doesn’t know where little Eurus is, quite a clever little puzzle.
The governor is a goner, nobody even thinks about him not dying.
Apparently, now that they’ve passed the first level, there was a secret door in Eurus cell and apparently, nobody in Sherrinford has even thought to add security.
Eurus is now reconnecting Sherlock with Eurus’s softer self. Eurus has multiple personality disorder apparently and great skills with voices.
The three Garridebs are hanging to know who killed the victim. The suspense is killing them.
Remember why you’re doing this? This little girl is your motivation *Eurus changes her voice*
Now back to business. Look at the cute little coffin. Now, I’ve put cameras in Molly’s kitchen but do you really think I’ll put a bomb? Seriously, where would it be? On a drone?
Oh.
Oh, by the way, remember I’m still in the sky with nowhere to land. Save little Eurus.
I love Sherrinford’s architects. After a secret door in Eurus’ cell, a room with walls throwing sleeping darts.
And Sherlock falls into back goo. Bring him back to Musgrave and give him his coat to keep him warm. Mycroft, you go back into my cell to be imprisoned even though there is no glass stopping you from leaving it.
Hello? This is little Eurus, aka Eurus’ softer side. Did you miss me ;) ?
Now, these prefabricated buildings. Here’s some pictures from better days. We can see me, and Mummy and Daddy, and Sherlock and Mycroft…  Like them? They come from my cell. It’s just a pity there’s no picture of me. Oh, and add Redbeard’s bowl.
Of course there is a chain at the bottom of the well. I made it specifically for John Watson but keep the bones in the well.

Eurus: Oh fuck, Sherlock’s about to solve the puzzle! *closes computer and video projection*, *hides computer* runs to the secret room while pretending to be little Eurus on the plane, screaming she’s going to die.
